Stranded at Girona airport on Thursday afternoon (French Air Traffic Controllers strike) witnessed poor fellow blue (Chang Shirt) struggling to console his wife and child. To cheer things up I began singing 'It's a Grand Old team. ' about twenty feet away a guy in a smart blue suit turns around to face me, It was David Moyes!
As all blues would do I approached him and we spoke briefly over events of the last few weeks.
I couldn't resist asking him, 'er David any chance of sitting in the back seat of your private jet?'
He smiled and wandered off to collect his luggage, he was actually going to be flying on a Ryan Air flight back to Leeds before it was cancelled.
