OK so we dropped points today against a useful Stoke side who are either playing hot or cold. There for the taking at Goodison but who'd already beaten Chelsea and drawn with City at home.
As with the Sunderland game, we battered them especially in the first half, hitting the woodwork twice and causing panic in their defence whenever we broke forward. Credit to young John Stones who replaced Distin in difficult circumstances, Kevin Mirallas for getting shots in and on target and Leon Osman who when he came on did the job he needed to and for staying on his feet before eventually winning the penalty. Oh yeah, a penalty. I'd almost forgotten what they were, but dispatched with ease by Leighton at the end.

FA Cup next week before Norwich at home, WBA away and the RS across the Park. Am I hoping or expecting too much for a passage to the Fourth Round and at least 7 points? Obviously 9 points would be nicer and is not impossible if only to silence our neighbours who apparently claimed 4th spot after beating Hull. Onwards and upwards. COYB.

Rafa won you trophies and games against the top 4, Moyes on the other hand did not. Plus Rafa left you on good terms, with Liverpool ready to let him leave, Moyes on the other hand waited for a contract to expire to ensure we received no compensation for him leaving (although he knew full well he would not only be leaving our club for Manchester United long before he did, but the job to united would not hang in the balance whether they had to pay a compensation pay out of a contract as he was Fergie's recommendation for his replacement) all this knowing what sort of financial position efc are in was just a kick in the teeth (thats why there is hatred for moyes over his leaving for Man Utd, not the years prior to that which he changed us from a bottom league club to a european chasing club, which I'm sure there are very few evertonians that would slate him about) Enough about Moyes anyway, he like others have left everton to find the grass isn't always greener and we are left with a forward thinking, young, attacking minded passing football manager who has inspiration to turn us from a european chasing team to a top 4 candidate each year. Moyes did well with Everton? Don't speak about topics you CLEARLY don't understand fully or you'll just make yourself look a fool.

Jimlahey tps

You're clearly not very bright are you? If you'd got half a brain cell you would have realised that The Real Mike was being sarcastic. However.

What gets me though is that you've then got the gall to re-post this on your site deleting the last part where Mike is being ironic about EFC not having any loanees in an attempt to carry favour with the rest of your supporters. Only you got caught out there as well didn't you jim? Well when you get back to school next week remember to ask your English teacher about the meanings of sarcasm and irony. If you re-tell the story accurately they'll laugh at you as well.
