Moyes bidding below the release fee is insulting, and he's really starting to p*** me off with the way he's going about things at Man U, but am I the only one who wouldn't be bothered seeing Fellaini go for the full £23m, or whatever it is? He was amazing last season and worked his socks off, despite what a few fans with short memories would have you believe, but that was as an attacking mid. He won't be there again this season and if he was, it wouldn't work as we [hopefully] won't be hoofing it up to him. If he stays, he'll be a defensive mid and frankly, he's pretty rubbish at it. He is far, far too reckless in his tackling and once he's booked, he's out the game, and too casual and inaccurate with his passing. He could use his strength to bulldose through defenders last year, but you can't do that to strikers or midfielders because you just get penalised immediately. if someone comes around who can activate his clause, accept it (psychologically, not physically accept the bid, we have no say in that) and get someone else who is less of an offensive threat but far better defensively. Capoue and Medel are great options who we've already been linked with, but players like Schneiderlin would be fantastic, even if he has just signed a contract extension.

He has a handful of good games every season when he can be bothered and, at times, looks world class but his attitude and consistency are appalling. Get rid and bring in James McCarthy and Honda, we'll be a much better side if we can bring those 2 in for the vastly overrated Fellaini.

He is worth more than £30m in today's market.

For god sake. He was very good in about 30 games. He had like 4 bad games and everyone thinks he was inconsistent and had a terrible attitude. Ffs.

You've got that the wrong way round surely AB? He was terrible in around 30 games and played well in a handful. FFS (can I type that without sounding like a teenage girl?)

5.) 07 Aug 2013
Totally agree with you AB, no one would moan about his attitude if it wasn't for that one game against Wigan.

Fellaini's a fkn awsome player and at times he's unplayable. With respect to both the players you've mentioned I'd keep Fellaini every day of the week, and if we do end up having to sell him going for someone in the same sort of class!

Whoever the anon person is you obviously didn't go to any matches last season.

If you don't believe he was any good last season then why not ask the pundits on every TV station that literally slobbered at every dominant performance he produced.

We talk about 23mil for him. He is easily worth £35mil and before his release clause was mentioned it was what every fan thought he would go for.

I suggest going the game more.
