I remember seeing a post from Ed0025 on here saying that some of the players read these pages. If that's the case, then if, by any chance, Baisey's online, I'd like to put this to him :-

Bainsey, you can see from the posts on here how much us Everton fans love having you at our club. I've no idea how it must feel to be in your postition & have your talent, but I can understand that winning trophies is important to a player. Therefore it must be a bit overwhelming when all the speculation about your future starts. Anyway, as far as Manchester United are concerned, I'd like you to consider this. By common consent, you are now regarded as one of the top 3-5 left backs in world football, (imo top 3), so isn't it logical that if you are going to move on it should be to one of the top 3 clubs in the world. Therefore IF Real Madrid, Barcelona or Juventus come calling, I can see the temptation. Even when we get into the top 5 clubs, adding Bayern & Milan to this list, it would still be tempting, but NOT Man Utd. Their fans & the media have brainwashed themselves into believing that are the biggest club - not so.

Also consider the position there if, & it is a strong likeliehood, after 10 games next season they are mid-table. Moysie has no chance of getting the leeway Ferguson had 20 years ago - he'll be down the road. What happens then?
So, mate, have a bit of patience & let's see what next season brings for us with RM in charge. Please God it doesn't happen, but if we are struggling & a really big club comes in for you, I'm sure if you go, you'll leave with the best wishes of all true Evertonians.

I agree with you mate. If both Baines and Fellaini leave Everton this year, the summer will turn to be pretty ugly for you, no matter who you buy. If Manchester United value Rooney at 35 mil. , Nani 20 mil. , then Baines is surely worth 25-30 mil. Good luck next year hope you have a great season.

Baines doesn't want to go. kenwright apparently seething about utd trying to unsettle him. everton need to stay strong say no. moyes knows evertons situation and the way bill conducts his business. kenwright needs to stand up or his position will be weakened not only with everton fans but with other clubs. this could be s good thing, moyes is showing a ruthless attitude, bill needs to act get baines on a new contract, and tell utd to piss off
