It hurts to say it mate. but Rafa ticks ALL the boxes! In terms of experience & also knowledge of foreign players etc he leaves the rest miles behind. We sould not let our hearts rule our heads if we really do want Everton to progress over the longterm and be able to compete at the top level every season. As stated it chokes me as a lifelong Blue for over 45years but you can't argue over the mans credentials. his only fault. he managed the Red S****! Would you rather have Mark Hughes, Malky Mackay, Neil Lennon etc? Our Backroom staff ex players are not experienced enough & would defo need a top Coach to work with them. I don't envy Bill Kenwrights massive task. Street End Boy
