Oh well, I suppose that was coming after our recent improved performances. I guess we can just about still get in the Europa League if other results go our way and we manage 5th.
However, here is the crunch. Has anyone realised that if we end up 6th and above Liverpool yet again, we still don't qualify for the Europa League? Yet those bunch of ever lucky gobsh*tes are currently 2nd in the fair play tables (behind Arsenal I think). Meaning that they may qualify as runners up as Arsenal are already in Europe. In fact after the sending off of Giraud yesterday, the reds may even be top? Any other Blues see what I see happening?

How can a team that contains Suarez ever win a Fair Play League!

Southampton are top ain't they? {Ed002's Note - No.}

Just imagine: after all this season's promise, we finish below the dark side (7th and 6th), they get Fair Play qualification for the UEFA Europa League, they bring in players during the summer, we become the poor neighbours once again. On the other hand, if we win at the dark side in a few weeks, then skies won't be quite so grey ;-)

Top of the fair play only means Europa if England are in the top 3 of an overall fair play I think.
