When the teams are managed by Noel Blake, Stuart Pearce and Roy bloody Hodgson, you know the country has problems. England are also rans and always will be.

Love it, proves again its who you play for not how good you are that you get into the England squad. All of them are overrated as well or past it. Half of that under 21 squad either was in the championship or couldn't warm the bench at the club they was at. Shocking future for England IMO

sorry bout my sarcasm lads, You can't say things like that against that lot, because they've won 5 european cups, And they can do no wrong, And they have a divine right to have they're players as england captains at all levels. That is the most pathetic put down of Liverpool I've ever read. England are sh*te because they're light years behind Spain, Germany, Holland etc in terms of youth development.

I'm no Liverpool fan, but hasn't their academy just been voted the 5th best in Europe and therefore the best in England? Having Liverpool players as captains of England for their varying age groups just depresses me more. It doesn't undermine them in the least!
