It's quite simple to finish top four you need someone who can score 20+ goals or two three players who hit double figures we have not got that but everyone was sure Jelavic would be the man and I still think he will score plenty of goals but we have not won games we should of our top scorer is felleni I think then baines probably we need to achieve what we all wanted at start season that was to get back into Europe and we can do that, yesterday was a huge set back I thought we could get to final and win it but let's not forget our target top 4 was a bonus we have played bad last couple of months but moyes will pick us up, Jelavic to go on a run and we can have a strong finale {Ed007's Note - Jelavic will not score plenty of goals, not for Everton anyways, you were warned about him when you signed him.}

Unfortunately the fa cup draw means we now need 2 finish 5th 2 get into Europe. With our remaining fixtures I feel this is extremely unlikely

Is that true? About finishing 5th. ? {Ed025's Note - it all likelyhood..yes..

We haven't had a player in teh number 9 shirt - surely Everton's most iconic for over 5 years - that says it all about Moyes priorities.

Hi, to ed 07,

I do remember us being warned about Jelavic before we signerd him, and its clear that his ability is not what we first thought. however can I ask what you mean, "not for everton anyway"? Do you mean the standard of football in the prem? or that he has had a fallout and will be off soon? there is loads of ways this could be taken and I was just wondering in what context he won't score for us ( other than the fact he's just not good enough it seems )
Just a wondering, that's all.
we all knew he had his problems off field ( going on strike and so on) but have they followed him here? if you could let us know I would be happy! cheers!
molly 888 {Ed007's Note - I meant I expect him to leave Everton during the summer, sorry. Jelavic doesn't have a habit of hanging around at clubs and as you say, he went on strike at his last two in order to engineer moves away. If someone is willing to meet the financial side of any deal I am confident he will leave. Naismith is a much better player IMO, I'm surprised he hasn't been more prolific for you.}

Your replies are awful everyone thought Jelavic was the striker we needed last season now he is in a bad patch he is not good enough most clubs have one player who take them out where would they be in league with the points they have won single handed

Man utd- RVP
Liverpool - Suarez
Spurs- bale
Chelsea- mata

They have won so many points for club so guy proves his point when he says you need goals to get u top 4

Hi ed07, just a quick thanks for the response, I gathered as much from his past that we may struggle to keep him. Shame really, he was a revelation last season.
Also naismith, I have to behonest i'm surprised you have said that. Having not watched rangers last season I couldn't confirm, but naismith has been poor if i'm being honest.
Hes been played wide right, which obv isn't his position, and we know the, assive injuries he's had, just seems he doesn't really bring anything to the squad. Again, I will probably be proved wrong if we ever see him updront. Thanks again ed, appreciate the response!
Molly888 {Ed007's Note - No problem Molly, any time. You should put a number '1' before the '8's in your name :-) I am surprised myself that Naismith hasn't done better, his problem was always staying fit and it was never just a wee niggling injury, he always seemed to get the serious ones, it was a shame for him in that way. I'm sure if he gets fit and is played in the middle you would see a different player, play him up front with a good quality poacher and they would score goals, Naismth can run all day and brings some urgency into the attack. At the time Naismith was the only player at Rangers I would have taken at Celtic, I haven't seen much of Everton so my opinion is really still based on when he was up here but I would think he could regain that form again if played the right way.}

Naismith is worse than James McFadden! Ed7 I think you are letting your club loyalties cloud your judgement. A Celtic fan who doesn't like a former Rangers man? Who'd have thunk it? {Ed007's Note - Oh yeah see how I have heavily slated ex-Rangers man Naismith in my answer. Did you skip school the day they done reading, moron?}

8.) 12 Mar 2013
Nice, mature reply from Ed7! Your complements of Naismith were back-handed at best. Besides, I used to read every day at school, not just once! Your parents clearly forgot to teach you any manners. {Ed007's Note - Read through my 'back handed' compliments of Naismith, and point them out to me. What is back-handed in saying he was the only Rangers player I would have taken to CFC? Just because I wasn't offering to go for a windy walk through the autumn leaves doesn't mean it is back-handed.
Your parents clearly forgot to learn about contraception, so it is hardly my fault you are an idiot.}
