Looking like Freidkin will be our new owner according to reports.

{Ed002's Note - Friedkin wants to build a multi-club group like a number of others, but having both Roma and Everton would be difficult if both qualified for the same European competition. It would also cut out Bell and Downing and the club would still have to deal with the £1.2B in debt less the MSP debt which would need to be paid before any takeover can take place - I would steer clear of him due to the mess at Roma, but he may make the best cash offer and that will attract Moshiri.}

What is the mess currently at Roma Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Debt, protests over his firing Daniele de Rossi via Lina Souloukou who has been forced to resign.}

Would you say Textor is a better fit than Friedkin Ed?

{Ed002's Note - For me Bell and Downing together in a deal involving MSP would have offered the best solution for all. Textor still needs to sell his shares in Crystal Palace so the timeline would be longer.}

Of the three possible owners, who in your opinion could offer the best long term financial stability ed002?

{Ed002's Note - The problem is paying off more than £1B in debt and that will be a worry to whoever takes on the club. The advantage of Driedkin is that £200M of debit immediately goes away and if he can restructure the remaining debt much of it can then be secured against the new stadium.}

My only problem with Friedkin right now unaware of the mess at Roma is that he is an admirer of Gareth Southgate apparently and would look to replace Dyche with him if he gains control of the club.

I guess that would create a lot of mixed feelings with fans Elvis. Interesting thought. I wonder what a poll would come up with.

Never know ed he might decide to sell roma.

{Ed002's Note - It is possible but thhey would not recover their investment right now. He will wait until he can.}

Great information ed 002 as always mate just a question if you could possibly answer if friedkin do succeed in taking over everton can you see them looking at a new manager and if that's the case any inside information on who they would like to appoint any information would be gratefull.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, he previously took advice on options.}

is the debt not £600m

then -200 as 200 of it is Friedkins

remaining debt is 200 odd with R&M
200 odd to 777

The extreme debt's anyway.

{Ed002's Note - You may have forgotten the £450M shareholder loans from Moshiri.}

Whilst the debt is a massive issue, would hope that someone who is already involved in football taking over us may be able to figure out ways on how to get on top of it and start running the club like a football club.

Whilst Moshiri has almost delivered us a state of the art stadium, the rest of his tenure has been painful and has highlighted how little he knew of the world of football and how easily he was advised in most cases poorly in terms of recruitment and managerial appointments.

However all the blame can’t be laid at his feet, bill Kenwright should shoulder a large proportion of the responsibility of the mess we’re in.

Hopefully we’ll start to be run properly and can start the long and slow road to recovery.

Won't Moshiri have to take some of that on the chin ed?

{Ed002's Note - Perhaps but he can still keep it on the books.}

If the "Roma and Everton in the same UEFA comp" becomes an issue I think we will all be feeling a lot better.
