Got a few hundred in Monopoly money Nick mate and Woburn you need your money for petrol mate, wonder what he would accept for Everton after all he has put in, never thought it might come to this, sad sad times at our Club.

Haha people will be crying out to buy a club about to drop to the championship with players that might just about be good enough for league 1 and in mountains of debt!
What an attractive option. Moshiri might be the worst business man on the planet! All he is is a puppet for usmanovs fraudulent millions not that they did us much good.
Stadium will end up falling through I reckon. We could be the next derby which would be typical of Everton after having no money for 20 yrs then getting a few quid.

This story is no surprise. True or false it's really Canon fodder for the press and let's be honest, the fan base is weeks away from turning really nasty against FM and if the guy has had his golden goose killed, its all a folly for him now to continue. The stadium permissions and construction started is a big plus to any buyer as is the fact 1 guy owns 97% and that makes a deal very easy compared to other clubs. So I guess the question is Saudi or American? Just think, we could be playing against Oxford next season and be in Derby position with a series of point deductions. Not exactly the 5 year plan I'd been promised.

{Ed002's Note - Everton is not up for sale.}

Point taken ed. Just out of interest, if we were to be sold again, who would fans prefer to buy us, a UK investor, or an overseas investor? I see the sucesses of clubs with overseas investment, but also the dangers that should their ecconomies take a hit, its their overseas investments that tend to get sacrificed first. I would prefer a UK investor if ever it happens.

Nick, I would hope that the next buyer had football savvy and financial savvy combined and no Machiavellian influences mate, apart from that I wouldn't mind.

With our luck Moshiri will sell up to a wealthy, charming and sophisticated reclusive billionaire who lives on a secluded island in a hollowed out volcano. We'll do really well for half a season until it all comes crashing down thanks to a bitter Chelsea fan by the name of James Bond. Bill will still be on the Everton board, but also in SPECTRE. This is no more far fetched than anything that we've been through in the last 5 years.
