I see Allan wants to stay longer? Ed is this true as something mentioned about him wanting to return to Italy.

{Ed002's Note - I have not heard anything but it will be because of the bounce that comes with a new manager. Given he is in to his 30s he will become harder to sell so could stay at the expense of adding a replacement. Lampard would like Idrissa Gueye back.}

He’s not the only one Ed. I’d love him back.

Hope Allan starts to show some more consistency if he’s staying. He’s got the ability but unfortunately rarely strings a run of decent performances together.

Need him to play like he did against Brentford every game as really helps out the defence an area we’re really struggling with.

Allan is a cracking player and would make a good Captain. He needs to be behind the ball with legs either side of him. Beek and Decoure either side of him. Unfortunately Decoure is out and won't be rushed back. Frank is hoping Deli can get his mojo and fitness back quickly. Up front it has to be Gordon DCL/ Richarison Gray. Back 4 is a huge headache.

Allan's problem is his role constantly shifts depending on which player he is playing with. This year he has had a constant rotation of midfield partners which must make it hard for him to get into a rhythm.

Allan’s biggest problem is his age. Prem is the hardest league to play in and it takes it out of you.

I thought Allan had a better game because DVDB gave everyone so much more time with his play and positioning and you could see him directing the play. We need him on a permanent deal.

Hence why commentators drooled over Alan being able to play his natural position and game.
