Reports now online that Rooney has refused to be involved in any further interview process. Don't know if it's true, but if it is, it's to his credit if he has. Our club is a complete shambles?.

Or that he has some integrity and that he’s committed to the fans and his colleagues at Derby.

Wayne Rooney has zero integrity I think the whole world knows that.

The same rooney that dropped is boyhood club like a hot potato stays at Derby because its the right thing to do? Yes that must be what happened.

More likely he just doesn't want to swap one mess for another, it just be exhausting to be fair.

Wayne Rooney has no place at our Club.

Everyone walks away to Man U whether we like it or not. He could have walked away from Derby at any point, and no one would have blamed him.

Rooney was sold he didn't walk away he was forced to leave as we needed the money and he was the only realistic player that could provide the money we needed. Has Rooney even been interviewed for the Everton post? Papers say he's being considered but not seen anything saying he actually been interviewed. one of the ed's may be able to confirm if he has or not.

If Rooney came in he would be pulling what’s left of his hair out
Unfortunately we are not an attractive prospect to any manager as it stands
Rafa should have gone before Digne or Brands in my opinion
But our issues are not from this season alone, it’s been there to see, and we are crippled by FFP now.

Cannot believe people still whinge about Rooney going to United. One they were probably the best club side on the planet at the time and secondly we desperately needed the money. Grow up.

Totally agree Windsor, we had little cash and that 30mil gave us stability, plus ghe likes of Cahill, Arteta, Lescott, jags, Yak, Baines Howard, Neville came in on the back of that cash and stability over the next couple seasons.

He likes his windows. Good choice in this toxic era, probably the best decision he's ever made. Hope he keeps Derby up and progresses as a manager. We will undoubtedly be in this circus of fan power again in 12 months or less. And News now and Twitter will push him into contention once again.

We approached Rooney and he turned us down, there you go Mr Moshri how embarrassing is that, Rooney . Still giving priority to 'advisors' advice after that snub. When are you going to wake up.
