Looking at Benitez body language and what he said I very much doubt we will get anyone else in hopefully I'm wrong. He also gave the impression that El Gahzi was not a player of his choosing so it looks like agents are getting their way again.

Yes he did speak well of him, but he started by saying that he was part of the Digne deal which gave me the impression if Digne had gone to another club he wouldn't have gone for him.

I felt the same as you Sa90 he avoided the question but he is a good player and I am sure he will be a success but I can’t see us going in now for any match winner in January, as ideally we needed a creative, powerful, attacking dribbling midfielder to play in DCL and Richarlison
With Mina coming back then we will be much better in the defence department, no doubts we will have a better second half of the season now that we will have a full strength squad.

1 in 4 good games apparently woburnblue. I thought he was a winger but according to Benitez he can play two or three positions. On loan though so that is a plus, he will play to impress (hopefully) .

Villa fan here, 1 in 4 good games if you're lucky. The goals to game ratio may seem good as well but, a good portion of them came from penalties, frustrating player to watch to say the least, and I hardly think his signing is going to help your season, I do hope it all works out for yous though, good luck for the rest of the season!
