Hi Ed’s. The Richarlison to PSG rumours don't seem to want to go away. Are you able to tell us any more about the situation? Thank you.

{Ed002's Note - Simply put his agent, Bertolucci, is offering Richarlison to PSG. As of this time PSG have not spoken with Everton as I understand it. A third party will assist in trying to get the transfer progressed but there is no guarantee it will happen. As I have explained previously, Richarlison's agent has offering him around and has also spoken with Atletico Madrid, Milan and Fiorentina - no doubt amongst others. Real Madrid could be open to the idea of taking him having lost out on another player but their focus will remain on Mbappe. Everton may be open to selling at the right price but finding a buyer may prove difficult if the price is too high - and account needs to be taken how late it now is in terms of the transfer window - with many prior targets not available and Moise Kean working hard to get out of the club.}

Thanks Ed. Terrible to lose him this late in the window without time to get a proper replacement in.

{Ed002's Note - It is a problem that comes up every year Hugo. It is also the reason a lot of clubs block moves at the end of the window. Kean will, I am sure, be gone in the next day or so.}

Thats true, Ed. I suppose this is happening as a reaction to Mbappe going to Madrid so late, if it happens. Is Kean going back to Juventus or are they just online rumours?

{Ed002's Note - Richarlison has been offered around all summer.}

What’s a good price for Richarlison? £80m+ surely? Even more? Everton will surely ask for at least that maybe even £100m at this stage? Cannot see it happening to be honest, but I would imagine next summer he will go.

Hi Ed are wee looking at anyone to replace moise Kean? If. Richarlison where to go who would we be able to to get in to replace him too?

{Ed002's Note - Everton are looking for a striker but not as a Kean replacement as he has been on loan. Given the pretty dire financial problems Everton face they will need to sell to raise funds and the majority of the players interest has been shown in are no longer available to Everton. Interest remains in a few others:
Salomon Rondon (S) makes zero sense but could arrive as a Free Agent. I think it very unlikely but his club could release him and of course RB knows him well. I can't see it happening.
Haris Seferovic (S) Will be allowed to leave Benfica to raise funds. Everton have asked after him and he does have a good goalscoring record but nobody has ever seemed convined by him. Makes zero sense and doubtful.
Daryl Dike (S/F) Orlando City are open to selling the Barnsley loanee for a good price but one scout who was asked to watch him described him as clumsy. Barnsley have an option to buy. Leeds, Wolves and Bayer Leverkusehave spoken with Orlando City and others including Everton and Brighton have sent scouts to watch him. Leeds may press ahead with a bid. Could be a missed opportunity for Everton.
Daniel Jebbison (S) Sheffield United say they have rejected a low offer from Everton amid interest from Leeds. This transfer is certaionly doable for Everton.
Neal Maupay (S) Marseille had an approach for the player rebuffed by Brighton but that could be back on the table if Brighton sign a replacement in a timely manner. There have been suggestions that Everton are keen although I am not aware of an approach to Brighton just yet - but other targets have for them have fallen away. May have been caught by the West Ham scattergun as well.
Matthew Hoppe (S) American youngster has been advised to stay in Germany when Schalke likely sell him in the summer as it will be in his best interests. However, he has attracted interest from a number of sides including Spurs and the feeling is in the States that FSG might look to having him recruited for Liverpool as he is one of the up-and-coming American players. Everton have looked at him but need to sell first. Brentford have spoken with his agent and with Schalke. Certainly, clubs have been scouting him and recent form has been good. I don't see that he would be a starter for any of the leading clubs and unless paying well over the odds a Work Permit may be an issue in England. Doubtful.}

Not a lot to go on there, either old or clumsy, I’m both and I’m available on a free, but would definitely make zero sense!

Rafa has just said Richi going nowhere. Right decision as his stock will only go up this season and we don’t have time for suitable replacement.

Squad will be even thinner if richarlison does go. Hopefully we have an idea of who we could get in as a replacement. I think gray will start on the left wing.

So depending on formation we will need a mobile striker or a cam.

At least Ed says Moise will be gone in the next couple of days.

Do you know anything about James ed? Do you think if he ends up staying he will have any interest in actually playing for us?

{Ed002's Note - Everton have looked at a couple of good options for the LW role but opted for Andros Townsend. If Rodriguez were to get his move then Everton may look at the players again. Without going in to details, the agreement with Everton means options are being considered with his agent trying to squeeze him in at Milan, Atletico or Napoli. Napoli's interest was based on an assumption that Piotr Zielinski would be leaving but they have proiced him out of a move and he will now stay. Atletico have discussed the player at length with his agent and are open to a move but they need funds coming in first - and that is a problem. Milan have him on a list of options they are considering and may yet offer a solution - but he is not the preferred choice. Wants to move on but it is difficult to see alternate options unless Milan or Atletico push. Fiorentina offer an option and Newcastle offer a loan as a stepping stone to freedom for the player.}

I’d put good money on Richarlison still being an Everton player for this season. Something tells me it’s already been talked over between the club and the player. With that being said if he really wanted away I’d cash in in an instance, again in my opinion it should be nothing less than 70million.

Wasn’t it said that Everton had agreed to let him play in the olympics if he committed for another season?

Obviously if a big offer comes in or he decided she wants to go that would probably change the stance.

No Gingerdan I think the agreement was that Richy could go as long as he took it as his holiday, which is why he's back playing so quickly.
