Hi Eds,

I've seen some rumours recently and wanted to see if you knew about them at all. DCL is getting linked with Arsenal, offer I saw was £40m which is insulting for a player of his quality, I'm wondering if there is anything in that as I am sure we would not allow him to be up for sale without trying to purchase at least 2 forwards due to our lack of strikers

I've also seen reports linking us to Joaquin Correa of Lazio, fee is roughly 30 million. I can't see this happening since we are obviously in financial trouble and need to sell, and it doesn't look like James is any closer to leaving. Is there any truth in this link.

{Ed002's Note - Dominic Calvert-Lewin (S) with Everton in need of adding a strikers and others leaving the chances of DCL being sold unless a very significant offer arises are zip. Arsenal are looking for a striker but any interest they have will be at a far lower fee. The Real Madrid coach has said he is one of the rare English players who he thinks would take to football on the continent - so there may be interest. Other clubs looking for a striker such as Spurs have other preferred options. Manchester United may provide an option but might prefer to wait until next year when Cavani leaves.

Joaquin Correa (F/AM) West Ham had JC on a lengthy list of targets after his agent hawked him around the London clubs but were put off by the €40M asking price. Lazio want to upgrade and are willing to sell. Spurs has an interest but would want a loan to buy as they regroup under Paratici and have a preferred option to replace Kane but do not be surprised at an offer. I am not aware of any interest from Arsenal at this time but if Icardi leaves PSG he is very much on their list. Chelsea have preferred options but he has been offered to them, Everton, Inter and Manchester City. Inter and Everton have shown an interest and both could look to buying him. Both clubs have financial woes they need to resolve so they should also be looking to sell playters.}

Hi Blu99, I think Lonergan was cover, due to Virginia leaving and if rumour is right, our young goalie Harry Tyrer has picked up a knock, so think it is more cover for the youth team, than the first team.
