Eds are we still interested in pape mata sarr? I've seen an article on sky saying that the metz owner was flying in for talks three prem teams and was wondering if we are one of them.

{Ed002's Note - Pape Matar Sarr (DM/CM/AM) Metz don't want to sell the very versatile youngster after only signing the him last summer but if a good offer were made they would consider it. Unlikely to qualify for a Work Permit in England unless paying over the odds and one who will be off to AFCON although clubs could seek an exemption. Was watched by Everton and Aston Villa last season but his representatives have approached Chelsea and both Manchester clubs to see if they would be interested in buying the player and loaning him back for a season - knowing he is nowhere near ready for their first teams in the PL. At the time Everton and Aston Villa saw the need to recruit a replacement for Luiz and Besic but his representatives will only look to them again if they have no luck with the other clubs with a view that Manchester City and Chelsea have a sustained interest and likely both remain keen.}

A lime in the press that City, Utd and Chelsea are interested and that reps are in England discussing a potential move with 3 clubs. Those 3 clubs are spent up for the summer no? Arsenal and Spurs would make more sense - hoping we could be a surprise package.

Just speculating, Ed. All 3 have already spent big already, City are still in for Kane, Chelsea want a Centre Back. Man U maybe?

Going to be a very busy couple of weeks isn’t it?
So many teams in the Prem need to strengthen.
Can still see a lot of swap and loans being completed.
Barce can’t be the only team in a pickle.
