Hi edd002 seen a few reports on clubs wanting Calvert-Lewin. Do you know which clubs and if so are Everton willing to sell him? Thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - Dominic Calvert-Lewin (S) with Everton in need of adding a strikers and others leaving the chances of DCL being sold unless a very significant offer arises are zip. Arsenal are looking for a striker but any interest they have will be at a far lower fee. The Real Madrid coach has said he is one of the rare English players who he thinks would take to football on the continent - so there may be interest. Other clubs looking for a striker such as Chelsea nad Spurs have other preferred options. Manchester United may provide an option but might prefer to wait until next year when Cavani leaves.}

Thanks Ed hopefully he can continue growing at Everton but I think it’s wise of Everton to get another striker with a different set of skills compared to Calvert-Lewin.

{Ed002's Note - They are certainly looking to add a striker.}

If we’re looking to add a striker does that mean Kean is off and Simms they don’t think is up to it yet?

{Ed002's Note - To be honest pretty much all of the strikers could potentially leave. Johua King has gone, Kean is going, Richarlison's agent is offering him around, there is interest in DCL. Tosun has permission to talk to interested sides. Simms will likely get another loan.}

ED02 are any teams interested in Richarlison I can't see any of the so called top 6 being interested Real Madrid and Barcelona won't be interested I don't think, maybe PSG might but can't see them paying what we want which would not leave many other teams.

{Ed002's Note - Richarlison (F) His agent is offering him around and has spoken with Atletico Madrid, Milan and Fiorentina - no doubt amongst others. Everton may be open to selling at the right price but finding a buyer may prove difficult.}

Would the club sell Richarlison?
Probably… if we could a mad offer.
Who are we replacing all these players with?
Dunc will be starting at this rate!

If we sell him out of the 3 I would like him to go to Ath Madrid he would feed off their fans and take his game to another level but here's hoping he stays as he is a top player.

I think Richarlison is a good player. Far too inconsistent for me though. Cash in and get somebody with more consistency. Also, somebody that cracks a smile lol.

{Ed025's Note - hes very talented BC but as you say one miserable sod, i dont like all this diving nonsense either mate, if we could get £50m i would cash in..

I get the point of view to let Ricky go but who would you replace him with? Someone as consistent and work ethic with goals in him. Granted he didn’t have a great season in front of goal last season. Diving is just part of the game now, you just have to practice that as much as kicking the ball these days. Just look at the euros. Players fall down at the lightest touch, it’s pathetic and ruining the game.
The only player I can think of that could fill that void is Grealish. There’s been far too many pay cheque players that have joined our great club. He didn’t have his best season in front of goal but literally every match he plays his effort couldn’t be questioned. I’m a bit worried if I’m totally honest. Could this be a case of rats fleeing a sinking ship? Ricky, DCL, James, Sigs. That’s basically our total goal getters possibly at risk. Does anyone else not feel a little on edge this transfer window?

50m for Richy? So we basically make a loss on him, not good business that.

How would it be a loss if we paid £35m for him?

Transfermarkt site usually very reliable and they have us having paid £35.28m for him.

I know it was widely reported we paid £50m but not sure that was true.

Probably spent close to that in total on wages mate.

50m for a player we could probably get 70-80 for if he has a good next season is ridiculous.

But what if he has a bad season? Or a season similar to what he had last season with a year less on his contract?

If he wants out and we get over 50mil I'd let him go. He's a good player and all but he doesn't look happy here.

If we sold players cheaply just because they look unhappy here, we would sold Lukaku for about 35m after his first season, which, might I add, plenty of our fans wanted to do.

I don't think 50 mil is cheap. 70-80mil for richarlison is not realistic at all. Who would pay that?
