Getting away from the car crash that is our manager search, watching the euros last night and Renato Sanches was outstanding.
Exactly the type of player we need in midfield . Pace, power and takes on commits and beats opponents . Not saying he is someone we are interested in but would love him at Everton.

He had a rough time mentally moving to Bayern so young for big money, and who would want to move from Munich to Swansea. :)

He’s a quality player. He should never have gone to Swansea as too much was expected of a young player. I wouldn’t use his time there as a yardstick for how he would perform now.

Agree with Swan, this season he has been outstanding with Lille last season
Was chatting to a colleague at work and he said loads of players will be sold due to the crippling debts the club is in plus the club may be sold!
I am sure loads of clubs will be looking at him.

Come on guys, he's just not good enough and he's proven that.
It's all well and good praising a handful of performances because you're wetting your pants about a new possible signing, but he's always going to flop in the end and everyone knows it. He's basically repeating the form of Davy Klaasen. Aren't you going to give him the same justification for gash performance and effort as well?

Klaasen and Sanches play nothing alike, Sanches is still young and physically has everything.

I'm not saying playing style, I'm saying how they completely flopped and were found to be well out of their depth in the Prem. Both move on and get a few good performances in weaker leagues since. It doesn't make either a good player. Yet excuses are made for Renato and people try to justify us signing him.
And btw, "physically has everything" is such an overstatement. The occasional shot from distance that could be a wonder goal if it goes in (which it almost never does) but other than that he is exceptionally mediocre.

Our fans do it all the time it's pathetic and what's that 1 good season in France in games you never watched but hell that must make him a fantastic player because I watched him play 1 game in the euros and he played well 😂😂 I'm glad some of you guys are not in charge of our transfers.

I’m not saying we should go for him but a player can flop and then come good in a different set up, team or league or just under a different manager
Memphis Depay, flop at United been on fire since
Vlasic has look good since we got rid of him
Granted it goes the other way as well.
