Think about it. Have we really got enough out of the guy? Clearly put country before club at the end of the season, and only plays when he wants. Which isn’t often enough.
The way Carlo let him carry on must have had an impact on the other players. Their all human and they see him taking the piss and think why should I bother. It’s human nature.

Woburn we paid £40 odd million for sigurdsson and he’s hardly bothered.

We had Rodriguez on a free and in 1 season has done far more than sigurdsson has since we bought him.
