I think it’s all the desperate Everton fans backing them as they want them to happen.

However not sure why anyone would want Barkley back? He left under a cloud and hasn’t done anything to warrant a return as he’s been poor at Chelsea and villa.

The others bar coutinho would definitely improve the team if we could get one or two of those would be a decent window however not holding out much hope.

Another shout for a former player. Anyone who costs more than 15m who is over 28 years old or/ and has injury problems, we need to stay well away from. Barkley doesn’t have injury problems and he’s not old, he’s just not very good.

Aarons, Toney and ASM would be great. ASM has had some injuries but he is only going to get better and he’s the sort of player we are crying out for, and he tries hard every game.

Yeah wouldn’t want Barkley back myself tbh. But there is no doubting he would offer more than Gomes. And I’m still very confident we will get Aaron’s Brank.
