Reports now saying we have bid £5 mill for King.

Is he running down a contract or something. Seems very cheap. I don’t think he’s the answer but I’d take him for 5mil.

Only has 5 months left on his contract. Performed well in the EPL before so 5m good price. Comes down to us and Fulham, suppose it will come down to whether he wants to be a regular starter at Fulham or Slightly further down the pecking order here. Don’t know what the financial packages are like compared to the two clubs.

Sky are saying that we’ve offered him a 6 month contract, which I find a bit strange. Sounds like a glorified loan and if 5m is to be believed then it may not be a great deal getting him until the end of the season then him perhaps leaving. If that is the case I would not be surprised if he ended up with Fulham.
