Ed - why would Everton let 3 strikers leave on loan and leave us with only one who has just come back from injury and is going through a little drought

I could understand if we were 10th-14th say but for years we have heard board say they have aspirations of Europe - well surely this is the chance we were waiting for

There surely must be something we are not hearing lined up - it's not like we are free scoring from midfield either.

{Ed025's Note - i would hope we have somone lined up sobs, otherwise its a very strange state of affairs mate..

Surely we have someone lined up?! It's been very clear that carlo doesn't want to play youngsters/ they're nowhere near good enough so essentially we have no attack minded subs if tosun and Bernard go. Yesterday was a good example of that. Utterly devoid of ideas going forward and the only attacking player on the bench, Gordon, remained on the bench for the entire match. Looking as though we'll only attract players through ancelottis name this summer because European qualification seems pretty unlikely. Does make you wonder about the ffp situation though because surely we won't be able to spend loads again and it's not like any of our unwanted players are particularly saleable.

Last day syndrome yet again while I understand the need to reduce overheads can it really be considered at the expense of any ambitions the manager has?

Ed025 leaving it all to late I think! It’s like the clear out has clouded issues with squad players performance and form.

{Ed025's Note - it is late wakka and thats certainly a worry, but it looks like the main strategy was to get as many fringe players off the books as they could, i can see the point but its a concern when we see 2 keepers on the bench and the lack of attacking strength we have mate..
