Just read an article saying PSG have an option to buy Moise Kean for £18m at the end of his loan.
Seems like a small amount if he does actually achieve what everyone hoped for him and doesn't cover our original outlay on him.
Doesn't seem like something Brands would do.
Any substance to this or just nonsense reporting?

{Ed002's Note - There is an option at €20M at the end of this season and it far from covers the money Everton spent on the player. The lesson is (as explained when he joined for perhaps double his worth), don't let the owner make decisions on the advice of a third-party, don't sign players who don't want to join the club, and be careful of signing players who will be using the club as no more than a stepping stone.}

Cheers Ed, appreciate the reply. Either way we’ve got our fingers burned on this deal, he excels we lose him for £18m he is poor and we’re stuck with him.

Thankfully it appears from most recent transfers that moshiri Is finally letting Brands do the job he is paid to do and not having third party advisor interference.

Expensive lesson for Moshiri - let’s hope he’s learned from it.

{Ed002's Note - I would agree - this summer looks far more encouraging.}

Makes sense that he was an advisors signing and not a Brands signing. I suppose its quite difficult to try to stop an owner wanting to buy a specific player. let's hope he has learnt from his mistakes and let's the qualified people he brought in, do their jobs without the outside interference of advisors.

{Ed002's Note - I understand he has stepped back this summer - else I am sure Brands would need to consider his future.}

As long as those up top learn from the deal, it’s onwards and upwards. No sense in keeping anyone at the club who doesn’t want to be there.

On the topic of Brands’ future, isn't his contract up this Summer? Or is it different because he’s on the board?
