Ismaila Sarr has looked confident in the premier league does Everton hold any interest?

{Ed025's Note - not as of yet ST..

Have to agree with ed 002
He is old we need to stop think these types of players are food for are club. We have done this with the likes of
Delph, rooney, walcott, lennon
All players who were good back in the day
We need fresh young fighters not pass it players with big names.

I agree to an extent, although it’s good to have a blend of youth and experience and Perisic is real quality. His wages however would be massive - this would prevent ya from overhauling the squad. There’ll be bigger clubs than us, with CL football, after him anyway.

JB - regardless of age he’s another left winger!

He is. Bolasie will leave (hopefully) . I’m not convinced Ancellotti rates Bernard. Iwobi and Gordon both see themselves as no.10s. There are other areas I’d rather strengthen, but a top LW would still improve the squad. Don’t think Perisic is a goer anyway. Would much rather we concentrated on centre mids and a right back to replace Coleman/ Sidibe.

Surprised the name of Neres hasn’t resurfaced
There’s also this young kid Stengs at Alkmaar, that Alkmaar side has had a great season.

If you are playing Football Manager then Neres and Stengs will be superstars in Future - I signed them :) do think Sarr has been impressive in bad team and would feed front two.

Stengs and Teun Koopmeiners have been really good for Alkmaar from what my Dutch colleagues tell me, I was asking about Koopmeiners and they said Stengs is who we should look at 👀
There was loads of rumoured interest in Neres last summer, wondered if it was a Silva interest or a Brands

So if signing both do you do the opposite of Everton in real life signing loads of right wingers whereas we sign loads of left wingers?

{Ed002's Note - There is interest in Stengs from two Champions League sides. Teun Koopmeiners (DM/CM) Milan have had an approach for Koopmeiners rebuffed after losing out on three other DM players. They do not have the funds to push to force a sale. As for Everton there has been no approach, but if there is interest he would be a Brands choice and he is a very well thought of young player. Against a move happening are a number of points: (a) I am not sure that AZ Alkmaar would be open to selling their captain; (b) he plays in a side which plays a style of football Brands would like to instil throughout the entire club - but he has not so far being supported by the club in making that happen, and having Carlo as a different thinking coach won't help that quest; (c) if Gbamin is fit where does he fit in - although I see the argument that he would be an ideal Morgan Schneiderlin replacement - but will that give him sufficient game time. (d) Why would he walk away from playing in the Champions League to play at the wrong end of the Premier League. West Ham made an enquiry about him.}
