If MS does go folks then it’s Rafa for me. Ticks all the boxes for where we are as a club at the present time. Not all will agree, but FM has had RM, RK, SA and logic suggests he goes and gets a manager that has now Won the Top trophy and has managed arguably one of the biggest clubs in world football in RM. I think him or Jose have got to be top of the shopping list IF and that’s a big IF it happens.

John Toshack managed Real Madrid, shall we get him? Terry Venables managed Barcelona. Benitez is passed it, as his latest coaching role will state. Mourinho will not come to Everton. He doesn’t operate outside the top six sides in Europe.

Personally, I would offload big Dunc and put Tim Cahill in his place, at least he can do what Arteta is doing at City, With Cahill inputting the manager in the dugout.

At least Cahill talks sense and can identify the problems, people will rubbish this but give the thumbs up to Arteta.

Cahill will certainly provide more than what Dunc is providing on the bench.

But Trev’ I don’t rate him so I’d argue that I’d stay with Silva than go with the calibre that Benitez would offer.

To early to knee jerk for gods sake!
Silva will not be sacked at this point in the season, in fact probably not until it seems all is lost!
The board have chased this man so they are not going to give up early.
None of us are happy but we have to stick by him and the team through this bad patch.

{Ed002's Note - It was the owner who took advice to identify Silva as The Nifty One.}

To many fans expect instantaneous positive results, it takes time to bring in and replace players.
Installing new ideas and styles of play it takes time so no one is happy with results it may take another window to change another couple but patience is key at this time!

How many managers are still on our payroll? Martinez? Koeman? Allargy? Silva. and another new one? I think that will only happen as a last resort!

Moshri is not a football man. Listen to the EDs, 2 in particular being the most loveable.

Degsyp I am pretty sure the summer saw us clear all of those old managers salaries.
