Hi All, first time poster so be gentle.

This question is aimed at ED 002. Going back through numerous past posts it appears you have a very good knowledge of Chelseas day to day business/ plans; in your opinion what chance have Everton got on securing Kurt Zoumas services for the coming season. We can see he is back in the Chelsea squad, how likely is it he will be seen by Lampard to be one of his starters and so Zouma himself ruling out a return to Everton.
Thanks Ed, enjoy your insight.

{Ed002's Note - I have no way of measuring the chance of a move, but (a) Everton did themselves no favours in using a third party to simply make a vague enquiry initially rather than arranging a meeting and making an offer, (b) he may well be a starter at the beginning of the season but won’t be later on, (c) Zouma wants to remain at Chelsea, (d) the decision is not simply Lampard’s, (e) much depends on who else leaves - they have sold or released 26 players as of yesterday.}

Cheers for the info shame Zouma wants to stay at Chelsea can't blame him for that. I would have thought Brands would have been able to pick up the phone to make the initial enquiry strange they used a third party.

{Ed002's Note - The negotiation of transfers is often undertaken by third parties and often by folks who work for clubs that the fans have never heard of.}

If the player wants to remain, I’d say that is a major stumbling block in signing him.

Zouma will not be coming this window.
