Right. Why even watch the game? Just look at the newspaper. No wait, that would be incredibly boring. Doing good business in the windows is a major part of what leads to the team's success. I see no reason why how much players are bought and sold for shouldn't concern supporters. It's incredibly important.

I think the issue is that most supporters (me included) have no idea how the financial aspect of a transfer works. It's all good and well saying we sold someone for 10million and bought someone for 10million so we are level. In reality I expect that to be far from the truth given the additional fees that ed and other are referring too.
