Amazing how football changes over time. Rags now saying Arsenal and Spurs going to go up to 50m for Keane?
Few months ago we would probably been happy to see him go for 10.
Surely this shows that we have to be patient with the manager and payers now, give them time to develop as a squad.
Well gone Michael keep it going mate.

Following Woburn post, Whether there are rumours regarding Arsenal or Spurs being interested in Keane remains to be seen. He is certainly a much improved player this season and one who we need to remain at Everton,
Everton now maintain they are not now a selling club, but if an offer as suggested was made it would be interesting. It is up to Everton to improve their league position quickly and challenge for top 4 and succeed in cup competitions to be able to keep top players. Keane, now established in the England squad will want to win those medals and if Everton can’t do it for him then look elsewhere. If that happened, then back to square one looking for a replacement.
The same goes for any top player.

{Ed002's Note - If Everton are not a selling club then Everton cannot be a buying club either.}

All clubs are selling clubs, otherwise nobody would ever move. It’s all about the money offered.

Obviously all clubs sell players. My post was meant to read that Everton were having to sell to survive / pay the bills etc, which no longer applies.

Not a case of sell to survive but basic economics and running a business. Contrary to the hype Mr Moshri has not put millions of his own money into purchases, what he has done is enable the Business to service debt/ deficit I. E. Income and spend on an even keel.
