Did you ever manage to get to sunny Monaco Ed or are you still stuck in the Midlands, looks like summer could be about to kick start again here.

{Ed002's Note - Last season Bursaspor's defensive midfield player Ozan Tufan had been attracting the interest of Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Atletico Madrid last. His father was been keen to point out that "other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play - AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United." I would not read too much in to that for now as most of it was fantasy and he ended up moving to Fenerbahce. However, what we do know now - Sunderland watched the player at the end of the season and are in the market for a defensive midfield player and there is interest. Whether or not that changes if they have a change of manager we can only wait to see. We also know that reports from the Euros were favourable with Augsburg, Monaco, Southampton and RBS all taking note as I understand it. As for Everton, I am not aware of any approach to Fenerbahce at this time but it is possible. I rather doubt the player knows anything about Koeman so that won't be an attraction. With Wanyama on board I expect the passing interest of Spurs has gone. Fenerbahce would like to keep him for now but I understand his father wants to see him in England with the money that goes with it. I would caveat all of this by telling fans that I am told that he is not yet material for any of the better sides but much is expected of him given a year or two - so perhaps one to think about first.

I was going to try and grab a flight to Nice later today but right now I have things to do back at home so it looks like Monday. I only need a few hours in Monaco so I can get back on Tuesday.}
