ED 25, I know the return of Moyes, is about as popular with you, as it is with the majority of supporters, myself included, but, if the clueless one does finally get his long over due p45, do you see this as the most likey appointment?

{Ed025's Note - personally no jcw, i know hes a good friend of bills and he admires him but it would be a backward step and i dont think moshiri would sanction it mate..

I would welcome Moyes back although not my first choice.

{Ed025's Note - he would be my last choice mate..

On Moyes I disagree Ed so forgive me, I would have him back in a heartbeat, just step back and compare him with this fella. On Martinez this is getting ridiculous now, most would have said that the guy is a nice person but personally I am beginning to think it is a cover for his inadequacies. A person would have to be made of stone, ignorant to the point of bigotry (the definition of my opinion is the only one that matters) or just plain stupid (and Mr Martinez is not stupid) not to realise that either his methods or his choice of staff are the cause of this Great Clubs lack of progress. I hope to NAAFI break that even our illustrious Chairman is now seeing the light.

Lets put these Moyes back post to bed now please.
An interesting stat on the radio this evening if Martinez gets to the FA cup final he will have won more points in 1 season than Moyes did and will have equalled or bettered everything he did in the cups in 3 years compared to Moyes tenure of however many years.

RM inherited a much better side, a side that was moving forwards. Whoever takes over has got a re-building job to do because RM has taken us back 12 years. So many useless stats in football. You have just come up with more.

{Ed025's Note - he did inherit a good side nick and in the first season improved us, sadly that looks like a flash in the pan as this team has crumbled since and it looks like confidence is at an all time low mate..

Going back to the original post, I personally believe that Moyes will be a back up in case they don't land preferred targets. Then again who says we are even looking for a new manager?

That's what I mean ed. you can't compare RMs finishing positions, points tally etc to moyes' and say Martinez is a better manager as sidutton has tried to above when RM inherited a far better side than moyes did. If he stays we will get relegated next year. I'm as desperate as any blue to win a trophy and hope we win the fa cup but something is telling me it could be the worst thing to happen in the clubs history. Lukaku would still leave and would you trust RM to spend 200mil? Not a chance.

{Ed025's Note - i dont compare the 2 nick, moyes got us out of a hole and done a good job, but in the end was not good enough to take us any further and we played dire football to achieve that aim, in martinez we have a media friendly guy who has great attacking ideas but the team has spiraled downwards with him at the helm and defensively we are a complete mess..also not good enough mate..
