I have a friend who lives in the States. he's just text me to say it's all over the news there right now that John Moores has just bought Everton Football Club. this is not a windup or April 1st guys, this has really happened. Currently in the USA (Chicago) , woke up to this news and immediately checked. It's not on any news here. I'm not agreeing or disagreeing that it hasn't been on in the USA, because I don't think it would make headline news in sports in Chicago due footy not being the number 4th sport here, never mind No. 1.
