Ed do you know whether its true that we still owe Chelsea 13 million for Lukaku, someone just told me in work, may be garbage but if you know anything then please enlighten me

{Ed025's Note - we do still owe them money for him degsy, how much i dont know, but 95% of transfers are conducted in this way mate, not many just pay upfront anymore, its all done on the drip..

What ever we owe chelski boys will be well paid off posted this last week but never got put up. The reason it will be paid off is any transfers between two premier league clubs must be settled within 12 mth of signing a player. This rule has been out 2 seasons now it's not exactly a new on hopefully this gets posted and everyone now understands we owe chelski nowt.

Payment terms can be/are spread over the duration of a players contract.

This rule was brought in in 2003, and I can't find any changes to it. Also don't see why the EPL would be the only people to have this change?
