Rumour I just seen that Swansea have put a 19 mill price tag on Bony, how true it is I'm not sure.

I live in Swansea and the rumour is here that there is a release clause in Bony's contract of 19 million

Well I guess that puts him out of our reach. Shame would be a great addition

3.) 03 Jun 2014
The media reckon he is Arsenal bound and wants to play CL footy

If he - or pretty much any player - had the chance to play for a club in the Champions League, then we'd surely struggle to bring that player to Everton at present.

If he's available for 19 mill bloody hell that's a bargain! I was thinking more like 30 mill, surely we could afford that!

If a 19m price tag puts him out of our reach, then we never had any chance of him signing him. The tag of 19m actually makes it a possibility because I could see teams paying at least 25m for him. I know the Bookies don't know what players are going were, but if they all(or most in case there are ones I haven't seen) have got us as favourites to land him then I see it as a positive and that we do have a chance. In my opinion we need to invest heavily in a top striker, and for me it is out of two men: Lukaku and Bony.

I'd pay 19m for him now, no questions asked, that is a more than fair price to have him.

{Ed025's Note - i would as well rocky..

Supposing we could afford it and the players wanted to come, would you rather have Bony for £19m or Lukaku for £25m? It's a difficult one for me as I believe Lukaku will eventually be a far better player than Bony but we could do with the extra funds spare for more signings.

{Ed025's Note - bony all day for me tommy..
