Am l the only one who finds this whole Alan Myers thing more than a little strange? The communication between club and fans that has been non exsistant for years has come on leaps and bounds this season. It seemed as though we finally had a voice in the club from one of our own then all of a sudden he leaves for 'personal reasons' 24 hours later he clocks in at Blackburn of all places. Something has gone on I get the feeling someone doesn't like the fact he's actually doing what he was employed to do.

Maybe he's a Blackburn fan?

As the old saying goes.

'Familiarity breeds contempt'

Alan Myers seemed a breath of.fresh air at Everton and has done some great things in his short second spell at the club.

Maybe those around or above him at the club wished they had his seemingly transparemt popularity with the supporters and maybe thought he could be a liability in the future, who knows?

He's meant to be a lifelong everton fan apparently QB

Really? wow. Blackburn must be paying him a lot more than we did, because if I had his job, i'm not sure i'd leave it.

I know alan and he is a lifelong evertonian. He was forced out the club after clashing with robert elstone.
