I see RM is tying up a pre contract for Adie McGready? I've not see too much off him, although I've heard a lot/both good&bad however these are just certain peoples Op. What do the massass say? Worth a free? Manx MickeyblueI'd also love to wish my beautuful partner Leona Porter a great xmas along with ALL OUR BELOVED BLUEARMY peace out.

{Ed007's Note - I'm a Celtic supporter and was a ST holder while he was here, so I watched him break into the team and then become a regular. If I'm honest I couldn't believe it when we got £10m for him! Every CFC supporter was delighted, I never heard one person complain about selling him. He was very inconsistent and a bit of a one trick pony with not much of an end product. We drew Spartak in the CL last year and it doesn't look like his time in Russia has improved him as a player at all. He is also very petulant and has a questionable attitude at times to say the least.
He could (should?) have turned into a great player but it never happened for one reason or another. You will probably see him do the odd bit of mesmerising play and maybe a wonder goal here and there but don't expect any sort of consistency from him.
You can expect him to split the support to those who rate him and those that don't, I've heard and been involved in many of those 'discussions' while he was at CFC, even since he left he is still a contentious topic between CFC supporters.
He has also caused a few problems behind the scenes at Spartak a well.}

Thanks for the insight Ed007, pretty much sums up my, and many others, perceptions of him. Quite simply not good enough for Everton as I've believed all along.

If he was that good would he really have gone to russia no he would have been in either england spain italy or germany no disrespect to either russia or scotland intended

3.) 06 Dec 2013
I do not want him. Free or not he's not going to improve us! **** him off

Are these posters the same ones who didn't want Gareth Barry and James McCarthy, both of whom IMHO have been brilliant. If a player is good enough for RM, then I'm happy to have that player in our squad/team.

{Ed025's Note - im with you on that one kev, gibbo is another one that springs to mind mate..

I agree with KevinM to an extent. I trust RM and if someone is good enough for RM to buy them, they're just what we need.

Apart from Kone.

I must confess I wasn't hugely in support of Barry coming to us, but I've always appreciated what McCarthy brings to the party. I genuinely believe we have the modern day Peter Reid in him and he will only get better. His energy and enthusiasm is infectious and he's already justified his price tag, IMO. Barry has also proved a master stroke by RM and they compliment each other beautifully, very underrated and effective at what he does.
Re McGeady, I'm just not buying into even on a free. I'd prefer Ince to him personally. But in the event he comes I will support him when he pulls on the royal blue.
