So having watched Luton yesterday and then these two today I would say we will be safe. Only because Luton and Forest are no worse but no better than us.
In fact if Burnley had got their act together a little earlier, then we would be in a lot more trouble.
After watching Brentford yesterday I can't see us beating them. Same goes for Liverpool and Arsenal.
We need to get at least a draw against Luton and beat Sheff Utd. That would mean Luton would have to win their last three games. Away at Wolves and West Ham and home to Fulham.
After watching them yesterday I would say that's highly unlikely.

There’s a chance 31 points would be enough with better GD, just goes to show how terrible this league has become, used to be 42 for safety.

Just hope we pick up 6 to have a comfortable last day of the season, couldn’t take another like last season.

Avoid defeat to Luton and that will do us I think and to confirm beat Sheff Utd.

C3 we need the bottom end of this league to stay poor for at least another season. Maybe 2. Like you say, in years gone past you needed 42/ 43 points. Luckily for us it's low 30s for the last few years. We'd have been gone every year previously to this era. The gulf between Premier League and Championship has increased massively. Another warning sign the English game isn't as healthy as some think.

Well starting with Nottingham Forest (H) today we have 4 critical games coming up in which we desperately need results in. Brentford (H) , Luton (A) and Sheffield United (H) . It's crunch time and the players need to put in performances and make it count. Time and time again we've been let down this season and it's not acceptable. The Chelsea capitulation showed how weak and fragile we are.

The defence is showing signs of cracks and unfortunately we don't have anything to paper over it with. We need to be defensively resolute and make our attacks count. We've been so wasteful in front of goal it's been laughable. Our lack of goal scoring has been our achilles heel and I don't see it changing anytime soon because Dyche still persists with the same personnel and formation. It just doesn't work.

6 games left and it's still in our hands, but who do we play we drop Young, Harrison and Keane for sure non of them were any good last game but who steps up, I would start with DCL and Beto up front but after that who knows not much to choose from, whoever they are they all need to give 100 % for the 90 plus minutes.

Whoever the players are in the squad we need to change our thinking.
Against Burnley we played our usual containment game, then stupidly went to Chelsea to try to take them on. Utter madness in my opinion.
We need to set up with a press from the outset, take control, get the fans onside and we may have a chance.
NFFC are a decent footballing side with goals in them, so we need to knock their confidence from the outset.

Utterly devastated after last night's performance no passion no fight no leaders, tarkowski comes out saying the usual verbal diahorrea blame the players and its not the managers fault, listen you clowns it's all of your faults dyche is inept at best and you lot ain't fighting for this club or fans you should all be ashamed of yourselves especially drawing fantastic wages every month for piss poor performances especially over the last 4 months if they had a proper job they would have been sacked long ago. I agree with a lot of the posts on here we need a major reset in the summer and I just hope we get enough points to stay up otherwise we could end up doing a Sunderland. If the players showed half of the passion of our brilliant fans we would be fine. Sorry for the moan everyone on here I'm just so disappointed in this lot it's killing me.

Dyche, I can't understand what I've just seen. That's because you're a crap manager who doesn't know what he is doing. And I bet you he still picks the same team against Forest.

If we stay up, the sole reason will be Luton.

Brentford will be fine.

I see Forest winning games thanks to the likes of MGW, Elanga and Wood. I think they beat us this weekend. They have more quality and easily more grit.

Thankfully I don't see Burnley or Sheffield catching us.

Luton have a great set of remaining fixtures left. They can certainly win their remaining home games against Brentford, Us and Fulham.

The only game I can see us having a chance of picking points up in is Luton away or Sheffield at home.

These players are a joke. It is actually astounding how poor we actually are. There isn't one aspect of this sport that we are good at.

Everyone knew that it would be hard to pick up points tonight. We are dross and Chelsea are on a decent run. The least Dyche could have done, was to set us up to be hard to breakdown and try and protect the only decent thing we have, sorry had this season, that being goal difference. How utterly naive of him to let that happen tonight.

The whole club is a shambles.

One of the most lack lustre performances I've seen from an Everton team
But if we shop for players at Burnley then get the manager of Burnley is it hardly surprising that's what we have become!
Clueless performance from the team and highlights the money wasted on sub standard players!
Worst game I've seen Pickford play but it's been coming!
No leadership on or off the pitch sums this great club up!
Chelsea were there for the taking tonight but we failed and the one class player shone!
We have 3 winnable games left in my opinion but the teams we have to play will take heart from tonight!
Can Dyche keep us up?

I'm really starting to fall out of love with the game of football. And most of us thought we could take a point from this game. Absolutely steam rollered.

{Ed002's Note - If the players are simply going to try and fouled and injure the opposition they are going to be in trouble. Everton are way better than that.}
