Reports of moyes departure from Everton at the end of the season will be put to him in the media as soon as this weekend. I reckon it will be interesting watching davey in his post match interview.
Especially now that 'the telegraph' are running a story about Redknapp as next England manger(odds slashed). And the vacancy at Spurs.

Just heard that Moyes has told the squad that he's off at the seasons end. One of the more senior players actually cried. Finch farm is NOT a happy place right now!

Not sure how much weight there is to this one but it's circling about by text.
Kenright gonna have another try at dragging Andy Grey away from the media work to take charge once
Moysey walks away.
Not the worst we could do, but EFC ladies might not approve.

Re Everton/David Moyes situation.

I believe that the Everton board feel that now is the time for change. Things had looked quite well for the future in previous years but this season has but this season has been a disaster. Moyes has been denied funds more because the club have not approved transfer targets rather than financial constraints. A defining moment was when Moyes identified Emile Heskey as his main transfer target last summer. The wish list contained too many has beens and not enough young talent.
The club had moved forward in 9 years but are now back to the same position as when David Moyes arrived, hovering a few points above relegation zone, falling attendances, a team of decent players not playing to their potential and an increasing level of debt.

Graham the milkman here. I just found this on the reds**te rumour page on this site.

16 Feb 2011 00:26:01
Ed, you're probably going to kill me for asking but can you update me on what info you have regarding Everton's financial situation?
Are they on the verge as they say or just struggling?
I would hate to see them go into administration or the like.
Only asking on behalf of a friend who is an EFC fan & is very concerned at the situation.
And ed, if you have any news on Moyes' situation within the club please share?!
Any idea if he'll walk come the summer?
Any inside info or just high probability rumours will do ed if you have any.
Thank you,
Cheers,
Irish Kev. {ed's note - the only info I have been given regarding them is in relation to Moyes being on the verge of leaving. I have no idea on their financial situation sorry. Well nothing concrete, just rumours that it is money problems that make him want to leave.}
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Any chance OUR ed could give his opinion? {ed's note - it is the same editors that do all the sites mate. As far as I can find out it is not money problems as in the club being on the verge of folding, but money problems in terms of him wanting money to spend and the club not having it. Or, depending on who you speak to, the club withholding money from Moyes. I disbelieve the latter rumour as it would make no sense to push Moyes towards the door like that, it would benefit no one and certainly would not benefit the club.}

I played golf with an old friend of mine at the weekend & he invited his son in law to join us. This lad works in admin for the FA and had a bit of solid info that I managed to get out of him.
It seems that Moysey has had informal talks with Spurs chiefs. And sadly for us, has agreed(in principal) to take the managers job once Harry becomes England manager in 2012(this is a done deal). David moyes will announce his departure
from Everton at the end of the season.

. . . . . . how on earth would someone who works in admin for the fa know this? get real and stop psoting lies because its very boring! !

In answer to your question mate.
Like most human beings that work together, he talks with collegues and the info filtered out. They all agree not to mention it but, it's hard not to tell your missus' father when you know he's a blue. I'm gutted too fella but this is gospel.

Bill kenwright to step down as chairman of everton whilst the club is sold a.s.a.p

Everton Rumours

Any one listen to Blackpool game on local radio (city 96.7) Ian Snodin covers the Everton games.

He said that over the last few years Everton has had three offers to buy the club

But Kenwright doesn't see them viable, the offers are said to be around £120 mil

What Snodin said is that Knewright wants a viable offer for the club, and that would be someone who has the mone to buy the club and move us forward, clear the debt we have, and to get us a new ground or to improve Goodison, which means Knewright is looking for offers around £300 mil

If that's true then I don't think we will be having any owners any time soon

I'm a Watford fan and having watched a club stave off administration on numerous occaisions. .

There are certain things that prove that Everton are clearly NOT anywhere close to administration. .

Cahill & Arteta new improved deals in the summer. .

Improved deals offered for Pineaar,
New Improved deals signed by Anichebe & Coleman. .

THE CLUB WOULD NOT BE OFFERING IMPROVED DEALS - THEY WOULD BE OFFERING REDUCED DEALS! !

Everton are just not too flush right now, but I would think that you are one of the few clubs that would not go into administration!

To the guy, (I assume) who posts regularly on the Everton page - you know the one, uses "ye" instead of "you" (when he remembers), doesn't know how to use capital letters & never signs his name.

The reason why I, & I assume a few other normally regular posters, haven't been posting, is that we haven't had much to say or talk about. It's obvious that the transfer window was very slow for us. I would have liked to have seen a couple of new faces but it wasn't to be. And after looking at the insane prices paid for some players, in a way, I'm glad. Take Andy Carrol - from what I've seen I like him as a player, he reminds me of Big Dunc. If we'd have had some money to spend I wouldn't have minded us buying him, BUT at no more than £12m. £35m is insane & a huge gamble.
We all know that our beloved club is desparate for investment but, as Bill Kenwright has said, it has to be the right kind of investment i.e. not some foriegn "nouveau riche" spoiled kid looking for a new plaything.
So, Mr "Ye-nonymous", I'm not worried about relegation, whilst I'm not expecting much from the season either. Just learn from Everton fans &, when you've not got anything of any merit to say, Say Nowt!

On a separate matter, I've been watching the situation with the Portsmouth landlady who's gone to the European court to fight Sky over showing live matches in her pub via a Greek broadcaster. This could be very interesting & potentially devastating for the EPL. If she wins this case & tens of thousands of fans cancel their Sky subscriptions & follow her lead do you think that Murdoch will keep pumping millions into the EPL? Me neither!
This could be the straw that breaks the camel's back for many clubs, (especially those with overpriced, overpaid players who'll just head off to La Liga or Serie A).

I have received several texts tonight regarding us going into possible adminstration. The source appears to be Alan Stubbs, but after making several calls; Stubbsy left the Everton backroom staff sometime ago and is out the loop. There is nothing on the web apart from this site. It might be true, but then again some people seem to be putting Pienaar departure and the Yak's loan move together and coming up with Adminstration. Babel left Liverpool today and half a dozen players have gone out on loan from them, does this also mean they are going into adminstration as well. Time will tell, but i am not going to take it seriously until I have to.

BanffBlue you are a GENIUS! We are indeed on the brink of administration. The reason being we just spent nearly 60 mill on just 2 players, now we are broke. Come back on this site mate and take a bow, you deserve it.

Are these rumours about administration true! as now am hearing moyes is considering is postion at the club. . ed do you know anything. 10pts would cut us adrift at the bottom of the table {ed's note - the rumours about Moyes I believe to be true, but I know nothing about why he is considering leaving. I always thought it was just because he thinks he has taken the club as far as he can.}

cheers ed - worried for our future if moyes steps down, who is going to want to come to a club with no funds or resources available for players. this is bad times for us blues.

Can i just add to all the Everton Haters on this page a few truths.

1. At this moment in time we are 4 points of 7th and two points behind Liverpool. We are one of many clubs that if we put a run together we will shoot up the table. Relegation is possible but I would not shoot your mouth off when your only 2 points further up the table.

2. The next 8 games in the league are with teams around us, If the Blue boys get there act together anythings possible.

3. Liverpool play Chelsea at the weekend, we have Blackpool at Home. On paper it is possible we will be above Liverpool come Sunday

4. If you want to see how much of a financial mess we are in look on the Internet as Everton post there Financial results on line every financial year like all other clubs. Then compare are debts to all the other clubs and you will see its not that bad.

5. If for one minute it was true Everton were going into administration do you not think it would be on the news (at least the Echo) and not a text from someone down the pub.

I believe that some of the comments are from people who need to go on there own sites and worry about themselves.

As usual Blair Mayne brings you the truth.

I've heard from a very, very reliable source from The Sty (Goodison Park) that Bill Kenwright has indeed secured new owners for your club, by the end of May.

Your new owners will be a british firm worth billions, and they will be? Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue. So make sure you keep paying your taxes or your club will fold.

PS. Do you still have your Hicks and Gillett banners?
