BBC reporting we are leading the way for Jean Seri from Nice. I know he was meant to sign for Barcelona last year but Nice ****ed about with the asking price. Any substance behind this Ed’s?

I am a fan of nzonzi think he is a quality midfielder and would add a lot to r midfield but the one thing against us signing him is the fact he is 29 and we have already got enough older players. Seri I am a huge fan of I think he's a really good creative player and creativity is something r midfield lacks as well as pace I think if we sign any of these two players then I can see us selling schniderlin, klasse make room but also from the wage bill.

Who will be the ideal candidate to partner Cenk in attack? Or are we going to expect him to lead the line on his own? I'd go for Sandro and DCL alternately seeing as Oumar seems to be the one reportedly on his way out the door. I think we should be safe enough now to be a bit more attack minded, especially if we strengthen the defence with one or two new faces. Really looking forward to the second half of this season.

Looks like we can cross Turan off the list who I seen is going to Istanbul and Palace don't have another defenders so Van Aanholt won't be coming either.

Hey Ed 025 what your take on this letter re Ross and the transfer saga to Chelsea that Joe Anderson has written, now trying to get the F A and the police involved, not sure if you have read it but he states we lost over £1 mill per week by Ross pulling out of the deal at the 11th hour after Chelsea had agreed to pay Everton £35mill, due to a groin strain sounds fishy to me mate if true be interested to hear your comments cheers.

I'm of the opinion Ross and Chelsea had a chat and decided that it's best for Ross to get him self fit at finch farm this saves them medical and staff expenses saves what we know now to be 20 million on the transfer fee and Ross prob got a larger signing on fee at the end of the day Everton would of done the same and we still made 15 million on a lad who came through the ranks the question that should be asked is has he just made a massive mistake going to Chelsea for himself and the fact he is an Evertonion I hope he goes on to have a great career.
