Reading this morning that we are being linked with 19 yr old Striker Joel Piroe from PSV, could be a goer with Marcel's connections, also says Marco not happy with Theo's football in the last few matches, hmmmmm.

Also says Juve have offered him a 5 year contract (Piroe not Walcott) so will have to see how much Marcel wants him.
Walcott definitely shouldn't start against Newcastle, interesting comments about Lookman he was dropped for tactical reasons.
Looking forward to the summer GB think Marcel has been working hard all season and will have some surprises for us.

So do I Lee mate a final 2 or 3 pieces for the jigsaw this summer and a team that Marco can call his own, and we will have a really good team, Marcel will deliver this next window of that I have no doubt, the question of Lookman as we have said b4 it is Marco that sees the players in training and on the pitch and I am sure he is better than any of the so called managers that come on here, leave it to him as he is the best judge of what and who he wants to play, agree also Theo will be rested against Newcastle, a good summer awaits us.

In reply about Lookman, I think what Marco is saying is there wasn't enough room on the bench.
Why have 2 wingers on the bench. Richarlison would always get the nod over Lookman. When we played richarlison through the middle and Walcott and Bernard it made sense to have one winger on the bench. i.e Lookman.

Problem was Walcott should not be in front of lookman.

Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinions as far as the Walcott Lookman discussion you only after look at the facts.
To say Lookman was dropped because of tactical reasons is absolute rubbish. Each time he has been introduced from the bench, especially at Anfield he has made a big difference, in our favour, causing LFC defence problems with his skill and direct running FACT.
He should be ahead of Walcott in the pecking order and should be afforded much more game time NO BRAINER.
And that view is based on his performances in EPL games and not on the training ground.
Which is more important performing in training or where it actually matters, under the pressure of a league game?
No prizes for the obvious answe.

{Ed025's Note - on the face of it fancy you are totally correct, however we dont know what goes on behind closed doors and silva is not the only manager who has failed to give ademola a decent run in the side mate..

I appreciate that Ed but SA came with a set objective and therefore wouldn’t risk his £millions by playing youth, whilst RK bought so many players there was never going to be any room for the youngsters to get a fair chance.

{Ed025's Note - they are fair points fancy, im just looking for a reason why he is not on the field a hell of a lot more i suppose mate..

Regarding lookman. He didn't play every game in bundesliga for Leipzig. Most of his goals and assists came off the bench. Imo it is an inferior league to our own in terms of competition and quality. Hence spurs walloping current leaders Dortmund.
Lookman got skills and potential to be great player. Just whether he got the brains and attitude to fulfil that potential.

Walcott keeps to a more disciplined role, covers back to help the full back, we need this in the first 75 minutes if everything is going to plan, the next 20 mins a fresh Lookman or Richarlison can shine and maybe grab the glory.

I don’t know if this is a possibility, but would he maybe have some sort of minimum appearance stipulation in his contract? So therefore MS is contractually bound to play Walcott as often as he does.

if lookman could track back and cover he would be in the side ahead of wallcott but he simply doesn't . also I think he has a bad attitude to teamwork that's why he doesn't get in the side more often we need players with a harder workrate and as bad as wallcott is at the moment his work rate is still better than lookmans.
