Diame being tipped as next signing. Do for me!

I want Honda as next signing. Diame would be good too though. We can get these two for the price we would have paid for Fer.

Diame would be a great signing, however not too sure he would come.

There was a bit of needle between him and Martinez in Diames last season at Wigan. This resulted in him spending the second half of the season on the bench.

Ac Milans Vice President has confirmed that they hope to sign Honda on a free in January! I hope we are in discussions to get it done now! Come on bill dig deep!

Totally agree, if we can pay 5 for Kone then we must be able to strike a deal for player who not just improve the team but will boost the clubs global brand. The board needs some vision.

Agree this is a great opportunity to get a quality player for not a lot of money. We need that global profile and he is it.

He has said several times he wants to play in the EPL, and it seems we are the only serious EPL club to offer him the opportunity to that, If he was not interested I think he would have said it to us straight out. I am hopeful so fingers crossed.

It wasn't long ago the RS were interested in him, would not surprise me if they try to scupper our chances.

Diame release clause is 3.5 mil has been activated by everton acording to talksport of interview by david gold but there set to offer him 50k week to stay there

We've just signed Kone for 5 million and he's nearly 30, Athletico Madrid are about to sign David Villa for 4.4 million and he's 31. Villa is twice the player Kone is and cheaper.

Apparently he wanted to stay in Spain. we couldn't afford his wages anyway. kones a good signing

Athletico just signed a nearly 32 year old striker recovering from a leg break who scored 10 league goals to replace the best NO. 9 in the world they sold for 50m aren't we lucky to get a 29 year old striker for 5m who scored or assisted 20 goals last season for a relegated team.

But david villa is not the player he was since the leg break he has lost his pace, agility and athletisism plus he is not as clinical as before and he is on near 200k so no thank you

If your'e happy with kone over villa you have serious eyesight issues. Class is timeless. Kone is not in the same class get real.

In spain Villa will only be paying about 20% on his wage of around 100. 000. over here he'll have to pay 50%. any English club would have to offer him 150. 000 a week just to compete with any spainish club's offer

Kone is on Everton wages and villa is about 3 or 4 times Everton wages. Its not all about transfer fees you know

4.4 million for him is a good price but 2 things 1. he wouldn't come to us as we are not in the champions league and 2. his wages will be astronomical.

If you knew anything about contracts, you would realise that Villa is on huge wages, so its not 4. 4 at all. Probably triple the cost of the Kone contract!

Not happy having paid 5millionish on a 29 year old, everton have never had a good African striker. The yak ( 2 seasons was good) was the best of a bad bunch. No sell on fee, he better score a few and prove most of us wrong!

I have a great idea all the moaners. why don't you all go across Stanley park and support them. they're another crowd of moaners, give Martinez, kone and the others a chance for gods sake.

All blues can have an opinion. we are loyal and will support him however the majority I think agree, good signing he aint. My word if alcaraz follows, that is worse than dire. {Ed025's Note - i would say that the majority think he,s a good addition..

I think he will be a decent signing for us, and I don't think the fact that he's 29 and from a relegated team makes any difference, I mean people say footballers are at their peak at 27-28, so why at 29 are people saying he's too old for our ageing squad, also I don't think it would of been kone's fault they got relegated so why is that an issue, I mean Samba has just gone back to anzhi for 12 mil and he WAS one the reasons qpr got relegated.

Hey Ed, do you have any idea whether we are showing any interest in Jese Rodriguez from the Real Madrid Castilla?
Heard he has asked for a transfer as he isn't getting enough first team opportunities. He was considered the biggest talent to emerge from the Castilla in i'm not sure how long, and was part of the Spanish u20 team this year.
This might be incorrect, but I think he scored 18 Liga Adelante goals last season which, for a winger, is pretty decent. Not sure how much he would cost, but in my opinion, would be a great addition to the team. {Ed025's Note - sorry mate..heard nothing on him..

You do realise you'd only get him on loan, otherwise he'd cost like 15-20million.

Also, Bent going for £5m! What a bargain. That would have been a much better deal. AV paid £15m for him and I think he's still got a lot of potential with the right team.

Think Wigan would of stayed up if kone hadn't of gone to the African cup of nations Robles is as only as good as the men in front of him and Alcatraz am quite sure he was injured 4 large chunks of the season

Baines is ex Wigan he didn't turn out to be bad player. Also Valencia went to man utd. Moses to Chelsea so champs league teams buying from Wigan. Personally I don't have a problem with this as long as these signings are followed up with Moses and Honda, whilst only losing Heitinga and Gueye.

yes bent has potential at the age of 29! and i'm happy with kone alcaraz and robles all good players and for no more than 6m combined is good and kone is better than bent just bent scores a few more goals that's it kone will get more assists and contribute more in other areas get behind the signings and be happy oh so happy

Wigan- relegated. 11 league goals is not all that great. Would rather another winger was signed and mirallas moved forward. We are only happy with kone because he is a signing and not for his goalscoring which is average. I watched him home and away and he is an older anichebe in his play.

Am sure they paid 24 mil for bent.
