Matias Schelotto according to the Mirror rated at £5million, if we could get a few million for Gueye.

Believable3 Unbelievable10

Gueye is an awful player. Hes slower than a lonely old women on a zimmer in a post office queue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Do you believe everything that is in the papers?

Brazilian fernando marcal apparently a reported target for us . Never heard of him before but I'm sure knows what he's doing . Scott Parker also linked with us could be a decent buy

Believable2 Unbelievable12

Parker would be a good addition 'if' and only if we keep Felli

Really wouldn't mind getting Andreas Weiman from Villa. He would leave if the chance came but I am not to sure oj the price we would pay though

Just been told everton our signing Darren fletcher on loan with view to buy

Believable6 Unbelievable21

Again, not for me. Not a bad player but he has stated himself that he is struggling every day to keep his illness at bay and has been told by doctors it could flare up at any time. Wages alone during a lone would be a risk never mind a longish contract.

Popeye

Most likely ins:
Horoau - PSG - loan til end of season
Forren - Molde - 4m with the money we made from Rodwell
Stones - Barnsley - 1m with add ons

Most likely outs:
Heitinga - Ajax/Galatasatry - between 3 - 6m
Barkley - Sheffield Wednesday or Burnley on loan
Gueye - Possibly to France but more likely to Championship - Loan

Scott Parker signing on loan absolute no chance..

Believable7 Unbelievable12

Thought Horoau had gone to China

In relation to an earlier post . Arshavin was at finch farm this morning 10 am. I have seen a photo and heard few people talking not sure abt jenas. So it's true area in there 100%

Victor Anichiebe, a close friend of mine for the academy when i was younger told me this afternoon Andrey Arshavin & Jermaine Jenas & Tom Huddlestone at finch farm this morning. But Fellani is likely to go. {Ed025's Note - hmmm

Believable9 Unbelievable26

Who makes this s#*t up lol {Ed025's Note - vics mate ?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Would take arshaven and Tom not jeanes

Agree0 Disagree0

If I was manager and I found out that one of my team's players was talking so loosely about incoming and outgoing transfers, then I'd come down like a ton of bricks on them - rank disloyalty IMHO. Anyway, it's no doubt a load of bo*****s.
C.A.Jones

Agree0 Disagree0

So what is your name?

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't see DM carrying any passengers and Arshavin doesn't pull his weight, Jenas is over-rated and not good enough but I'd take Huddlestone. The echo has us linked with a move for Scott Parker, I'd definitely take him, if there's any truth in it, just the type of player we need, imo.

08 Jan 2013 15:14:54
Cant see this being true but if it were I would take him, you would get a season out of him and he reminds me of Carsley, never ever backs out of a tackle

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

Not for me I'm afraid. He's had a couple of opportunities to join Everton and not taken them. At 32 he's not going to hold the central midfield position down for any significant length of time.

Popeye

Agree0 Disagree0

He left Newcastle because he couldn't settle up north. He's a Londoner through and through, could see him on a 6mth loan at QPR though

Agree0 Disagree0

Good player in his day, but another injury-prone midfielder is not what we need. The only move we should make is a side-step to avoid using up another berth in the Everton treatment room.

Hope so hess a good player

Agree0 Disagree0

Does he work fur spurs or do spurs just send out a weekly newsletter to all the local residents about their transfers

Agree0 Disagree0

Can't believe people don't believe it! We need a defensive mid, Moyes has been after him previously, he's a big lad and a good footballer, he's down the pecking order at Spurs, this has Moyes/Everton written all over it! JP {Ed025's Note - i think he will go to sunderland..

Believable17 Unbelievable13

Agree in principle with those comments, however, nobody knew how good he would be.Feel if Everton continue to improve and maybe get a couple of key signings in January we can keep all our better players.Chelsea and the person of an owner make me sick.If Fellaini goes would prefer he went to Man utd and we could maybe get a pre contract to get Rooney back i am sure he would come.COYB Would like us to try and get this forren lad and either Nani, Milner both would be great.

Agree0 Disagree0

If it was true, i don't moyes 'd said several times that no one is leaving this winter, nor that it would take an awful lot of cash to buy Fellaini...

Agree0 Disagree0

Have to agree it would be a huge loss to our club to lose him for anything short of 30 Million... Would not be a big profit to build on with that the club deserves. But maybe that also had something to do with convincing hime to resign...

Agree0 Disagree0

Based on this season's performances - where he's taken on the Tim Cahill sort of role - perhaps he is worth £40M, but was he worth that much when he signed his new contract? Be honest.
C.A.Jones

Agree0 Disagree0

I am positive that if that clause existed then there would be a massive flood of offers already in from teams getting in first to sign him! I don't believe we have dropped to a level of allowing these contracts just to sign a player... surely Everton are bigger than that.

Agree0 Disagree0

They did the best they could; Felli & his agent would not have signed the new contract without the clause, the agents job is to ensure the best terms for his client.
Other clubs pay 100k+ per week for top players like Felli and we are not able to compete so to keep the best players for as long as possible we have to offer these clauses. Gutted if he leaves but he has been great for us and should go with best wishes.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im pretty sure that any buy out clause has now passed

Agree0 Disagree0

Perhaps that's the figure that Fellaini's representatives insisted on before signing the new contract. Imagine if he'd gone for nothing at the end of his first contract.
C.A.Jones

Agree0 Disagree0

The player has gone on record as saying he will stay till the end of his current deal 2016, so, cluse or no cluse, if he is a man of his word, nothing to discuss.

Agree0 Disagree0

This rumour is a load of old rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Fellaini has no release clause in current contract. His previous deal did but that passed without being activated.

Everton will command a fee but he is worth what clubs are willing to pay. The summer will be interesting. Until then don't allow agents or vermin to unsettle us.

Toffeebidder

Agree0 Disagree0

Isn't Felli's agent his father? If that's the case then I'd tend to agree with the 6th poster. If my lad was a professional footballer then I'd want the best for him. I love Everton as much as life itself but given this scenario I wouldn't allow my heart to rule my head. It's a relatively short career as a footballer and you're only ever one injury away from it all ending. I know they're all extremely well paid these days but if the opportunity to make yourself financially secure for the rest of your life comes up you have to take it. Domingo {Ed025's Note - let me inform you mate...he is secure for life NOW!...even if his career ended tomorrow, he would still be a multi-millionaire, his contract would still be valid, netting him close to £15m..

Agree0 Disagree0

Gents

This is obviously rumour mongering by the mail i fail to see Everton not wanting to maximise their profit in alignment with previous deals like Wayne rooney vs dan gosling.

£30 million minimum or a package of

Agree0 Disagree0

The rumor is that it can the clause can only be triggered by a Champions League side, Chelsea are no longer in the Champions League this season so won't that prevent them from signing him, Ed?

Also, we have as much chance in getting in the CL for next season as Chelsea or Arsenal hopefully from where we are at this point so why would he go to one of them? The only other English team who could trigger his clause in Man you this January (if the rumors are true) and I can see fergie spending that on him, especially if reports about Sneijder are true. So hopefully< I can see him going anywhere this january (at least in England anyway)! Lets hope!

S

Agree0 Disagree0

CA Jones has it spot on. He probably only signed a new deal because of the release clause
Cheeks

Agree0 Disagree0

IMO we would have had a bid by now if the clause was active so it may well be just a rumour.

Agree0 Disagree0

I know it's a novel idea, but why don't the club come out tell us, it's in the public domain now, so it's not a case of alerting would be buyers ? {Ed025's Note - it may look as though we are putting him in the shop window..

Agree0 Disagree0

I will be really angry if they let him go before the summer. Then if we get Chanpions League he should stay. Moyes said no one is going in January and Fellaini willing to stay until contract ends. Everton are a real threat now. Stand by moyes and give him advance on sky money. This rumour is rubbish. Wouldn't mind a response from EFC on it though just to put mind at rest. It would be a disaster if Fellaini left now, he is irreplaceable. It's about time we said no you are not having our players! {Ed025's Note - im with you mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

If there is a release clause you can be 100% sure his agent will have alerted all the top clubs so these clubs will know where they stand and what the transfer fee would be
Moyes said he were to be sold it would be for a lot of money.. well £22 million is one hell a va lot of money.
Part of Demba Bas release clause was, I believe, that it could only be activated by a CL team so I wouldnt think that if Chelsea were to come in for him that would be an issue.
Finally to give Moyles an advance the Sky money would mean the club woud have to borrow and in view of the past postion with the bank and the recent decalred losses I doubt that many banks will be looking to allow Everton to increase their borrowings.

Agree0 Disagree0

So your telling me that if you had guaranteed 20mill coming in next season then the bank wouldn't give an advance? Course they would.

Agree0 Disagree0

Where have you been? The banks have been looking to reduce thier exposure to loss making business and fotoball, and in this instance, Everton, is not a profitable business the last two sets of accounts reflect significant losses.
Whislt the increase in Sky money will help based on the past all that has happened when TV money increases is that wages etc go up.
Irrespective past examples of where clubs have used an income stream to adavance significant additional borrowings have nearly always resulted in disaster. Look at Leeds and Rangers for instance.
I very much doubt that the board at Everton will be prepapred to throw away their cash flow forecasts nor would I expect will the banks allow them to

Agree0 Disagree0

If you all want to know were the story about his clause came out from have a read about his agent seems a dodgy person at best :

Marouane Fellaini's agent is Luciano D'Onofrio.

This is important, given recent rumours of buy-out clauses and Felli's move out of the city. Some people suggest the buy-out clause story was planted in Murdoch's Times newspapers and that everything is being built up to a move. But by whom?

An article in the respected When Saturday Comes magazine (issue 242, April 2007) described D'Onofrio and other agent developments:

"With the heat being turned up on agent activity in recent years, it is perhaps not a bad time for members of the profession to be considering a sideways career move. In England, the FA have been promising (though not as yet delivering) tougher regulations. In Italy, in the wake of Moggigate, forensic investigations into the affairs of the country's largest company of football agents, GEA (run by Luciano Moggi's son, Alessandro), are being carried out, but it is in France where agents have been given the greatest reason to sweat. Last June, seven agents were convicted of involvement in the Marseille transfer-fee scandal in the late 1990s, along with former club president Robert Louis-Dreyfus, head coach Rolland Courbis and several other club officials.

One of those agents, Luciano D'Onofrio, received two years in prison - including 18 months suspended - and a 375,000 (£250,000) fine. He subsequently resurfaced on the board of Standard Liège, where his brother Dominique was technical director. Last year Luciano was barred from any involvement in football for five years. There has also been a major probe into 15 transfer deals involving Paris Saint-Germain between 1998 and 2003 - including Ronaldinho's move from Gremio - which has seen a host of the country's agents come under close scrutiny.

We are looking at top four we play great footy why wouldn't him let him come

Agree0 Disagree0

If you think about it, it kinda could happen...Everton are not in the Champions League so we pose no threat to Madrid and therefore they can afford to loan a player of that calibre out to us although the likes of Man you and Arsenal do offer competition to Madrid. I doubt City and Chelsea would wan't him with their midfield and Moyes probably sees it as a good move. I'm not saying it will happen, just that it would make sense to loan him to us because he hardly gets a game for Madrid.

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Because he is on around £250 K per week, we would pay him £50 K per week max so Mourinho would be paying him £200 K per week to play for Everton!

Hmmmmm..... Remember the last Brazilian we tried to sign??

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it a case that he could be after first refusal on fell in the summer

Agree0 Disagree0

Mourinho said kaka could not go to man utd or arsenal but to everton ? where real madrid would have to pay more of his 200k wages ? stop posting rubbish rumours kaka would never join us and moyes would not loan him because of his wages

Phil, COYB!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Simmer down Phil. I didn't say that Mourinho HAS said he WILL loan Kaka to us, I'm just saying it would make more sense to loan him to us compared to loaning him to any of the bigger clubs...plus your argument about the wages, City did it for Adebayor when he went to Tottenham so...Finally, Madrid are 16 points off the top of La Liga so I can see them wanting to move a few players on in order to make room for new arrivals to improve their squad.

BitterBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

Man city did it with adebayor because they have money and plenty of it

Mr Blue Sky

Agree0 Disagree0

So kaka won't join cuz real would need to pay 200k wages...dont they pay 250k now and not use him!? So wouldnt loaning him to a team who pose no threat what so ever to madrid but could possibly qualify for CL nxt season an replace 1 of the so called big 4 and also save £2.5m for the year we loan him make good sense all around?

Kaka is another word for rubbish! Complete and total pile of it (The rumour not the player).
Would he really want to move from Madrid to a team (and no dis-respect to us here) who haven't qualified for the champions league ( Proper ) in his lifetime? If he was made available for loan I'm sure Kaka would have his pick of comfy clubs, not a club that'll demand his full capabilities and work rate.
Just my opinion. Pablo COYB
