Maybe some good new for the blues. Man city are looking at offloading Adam Johnson to make way for swansea winger Scott Sinclair. Source - London evening post.

Believable11 Unbelievable11

Don't hold your breath City are going to use him in the Agger deal.

Agree1 Disagree0

No such paper as the London Evening Post.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes, there is a paper as such. Google it.

Keith EFC.

Agree1 Disagree1

Yes they are trying to offload Johnson, I think that is true, not so sure that Scott sinclair is the player to help City dominate Europe!

Agree1 Disagree1

No such paper as The Evening Post??
You seriously need to get out more... Particularly around London in the EVENING!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would city use him in the agger deal? 20+ mill and Adam Johnson?? That sounds like a trademark r/s delusion if you ask me

Lukau agent says that he is not going to Fulham on loan but another EPL club
Possibilities ??

Believable13 Unbelievable14

Would love it.

The Belgian Guy {Ed025's Note - me too mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

Im not sure on him, when we beat chelsea at Goodison at the last season there was a couple of chelsea fans walking down signing he`s Just a fat Paul Furlong! when asked they where not impressed with him.

Agree1 Disagree1

So he had one bad game. From what I've seen, he's got some pretty decent talent.

Keith EFC.

Agree0 Disagree1

I think he will be used as a make weight in a deal with the divies across the park for Agger

Agree1 Disagree1

Well if he does come to us there's one thing that Moyes won't have an overweight footballer... He'll soon beast him until he sheds any excess weight!

Rhodes deal nearly in place deal will be waging on Moses to sign for Chelsea anichibe will sign for Wigan and we will get Rhodes for 5.5million huddersfield may get player from us on loan should be done after weekend

Believable16 Unbelievable31

OK, if you say so, but when it doesn't happen can you please come back and explain, thanks

Agree0 Disagree0

You will not get Rhodes for £5.5m.

Think you will find it nearer £8.5m and that means you have to sell someone significant first. Think you will find that will mean any deal is some way off, and you are still likely to be out-bid by a number of clubs.

Players with his goal scoring ability are always in demand. Whether he is worth £8.5m+ is questionable, but there are enough clubs with the money who will take a gamble.

Agree1 Disagree1

Are you his mother/lover/agent?

Do you go on every site and say this, he's even gone up by half a million in two days, get a grip luv/lad/mr 15%, he's a good unproven talent, stop trying to convince us otherwise.

Mike aintree

Agree0 Disagree1

Average player in a poor league. Moyes will not gamble with money he doesnt have. He wont score anywhere near the same amount of goals in the championship.

Agree1 Disagree1

£8.5 M is not a gamble it would be stupidity!...it is a serious investment for any team outside the top four or five clubs in the premiership.
The guys never played in the top flight and only last season was playing against the likes of Tranmere, Bury etc? Ok; he can find the net at first division level but having seen him first hand a few times he needs to work on more of his overall game. The premiership is a different ball game completely (Excuse the pun) ....at the age of nearly 23 a price tag of £3 to £4 M it may be considered realistically as a gamble. However; we bought Jelavic for £4M! I already think Rhodes is now too old to be 'one for the future'.....£8.5M...for an unproven 'prospect'...... No chance....desperation or just stupidity!

Believable17 Unbelievable31

It was the managers meeting, as stated about 5 times in previous posts. Amazes me that people dont bother to read the other posts first

Ste 1878.

Believable10 Unbelievable7

Embarassing.

Agree1 Disagree0

Shocking for a everton legend how can we riot if hibbo scores with that many turning up :-)

Agree0 Disagree1

I like the lad but how is he a legend? Proper legends like Southall and Watson only got about 20,000. Maybe if it was a Saturday against a better team more would have turned up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Excuses excuses excuses.
He is a legend and tonight proved it.

Hibbo has just said he had a phone call of Rooney coz he wanted to play in hibbos game tonight but the mancs said no hibbo said Rooney was really upset... Then he went on to say Rooney will always be an EVERTONIANS and will one day play for us again. Now I'm well over Rooney now but would I accept him back oooooh dunno!

Believable11 Unbelievable9

The only time he'd come back is when he's about 37/38.

Agree0 Disagree1

Just seen big dunc at the park end with his mate. Chances of him playing?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd have him tomorrow !
He did dump on us BUT he was a badly informed kid, he's since done some stupid things in games against us (kissing the badge etc ) but he admitted he bought Kai an everton kit before a man utd one so he still puts the club first and now I think he'd love to come back but we couldn't afford him. Maybe if the takeover rumours are true then the prodigal son would come back !

Agree0 Disagree0

Id love to see him back always said he would ,but id only have him if he joined us when his next contract runs out not when he is 20 stone.

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be daft he will sign for a Chinese team like most players will when they hit retirement.

Days of players returning to the clubs they love are over, even America players seem to be heading to get an extra pay cheque

Agree1 Disagree1

NEVER

Hi Eds and Fellow blues,

Just thought I'd put this to bed before it gets out of hand, David moyes is or has been at the Ethiad Stadium today and was pictured wearing his suit.

takeover not needed, Kenwright should stay and guide us through, look what happened at Blackburn with so called foreign investment.

Believable9 Unbelievable23

Well if you want continue to be out bid for players by the likes of Southampton, QPR , West ham and the likes then yes why do we need a takeover for, good old Bill he will guide as through. Mike {Ed051's Note - Good point

Agree1 Disagree1

Guide us through?? u kidding??

Agree0 Disagree0

We need finance arsenal chelsea united are all strengthening wereve got some 1 back for more than we sold him and a free transfer bk cant compete if we dont invest theres only 1 way were going any 1 happy with him is beyond me hes being greedy wanting 120 ,000 ,000 after paying 20,ooo,ooo claims to be a fan just a bussiness to him

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldn't disagree more with the OP and couldn't agree more with the response.

BK has served his purpose, time to bow out and let the club move forward.

Agree1 Disagree0

Think its important that we remember just how good a relationship our Chairman has with our Manager. The ideal scenario would be for investment with BK remaining as Chairman.

Shropshire Blue.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Shropshire... that is the nightmare scenario !

Getting investment and not getting shot of BK ? Worst outcome imaginable but i'm sure its what he's hoping for. Not me.

Agree1 Disagree0

Kenwright is killing the club his a joke

Agree1 Disagree0

Look at city for an example, they're struggling with that foreign investmnet

Agree0 Disagree0

OP is more delluded than the RS who are hoping to get 22m for Agger!
Bill Kenwright has stayed 8 years beyond his sell by date! He showed us his blatant lack of ambition when we finished 4th on the league. If he stays we will go under quicker than a Milan Mandrich run football club!
He tells the supporters blatant lies too..'We won't pass our safety certificate!'
'Mountinho... I've seen other players, watch this space'
Sold Bellefield- money to the bank
Sold Everton shop- rented back
Sold Finch Farm- rented in back
So Bill will get us through this DREAM ON!
Dave M {Ed051's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason bk as a good relationship is moyes is keeping him in a position of strentgh nobody else would keep the flack of him if moyes goes bill will run he wont stay and face the backlash

Agree0 Disagree0

At end of the day hes put nothing into the club - hes sitting on a profit of 100 million - when he sells that money will leave the club - why not have a share issue and sell 50m of shares to the fans at half price - we raise 25m and hes still sitting on 75m profit?

Agree1 Disagree1

This is a joke, right? Guide us through the mess he has put us in. Increased the debt from 25 Million to nearly 100. Sold off or mrtgaged all our assets. The quicker he goes the better. Problem is he is going nowhere, the club is not for sale.

Agree1 Disagree0

When we finished 4th he was at the draw said all this will be for nothing if we dont buy hence we didnt buyavd he is aphony excuse for a chairman only for moyes heeh have been back to luvie land years ago

Agree1 Disagree1

Just overheard a r/s at work.
The latest delusion is Agger to city for 22million + Adam Johnson!
ha ha ha ha haaha a a a haha hahah ha ha

Blue Bones

Believable7 Unbelievable7

I believe you.

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats so funny about that?

Agree1 Disagree0

I honestly wouldnt be suprised if something like that happend, they could fall down a bog and come out smelling like roses they are so lucky

Agree0 Disagree0

What has this got to do with Everton F.C.

Agree1 Disagree0

City are daft enough to go for something like that tho. . .

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its reported in the Guardian...more chip paper

Agree0 Disagree0

What's so funny? So you rate agger at around 37m+? If you do that's even funnier {Ed051's Note -

Agree0 Disagree0

Because that would make Agger worth about 30 million!
Dont get me wrong, hes not crap but hes not worth 30 million!

ha ha ha ha ha ha haha

Blue Bones

Agree1 Disagree0

Some Everton fans rate Baines about £25 million. So whats wrong with some Liverpool fans rating Agger at around £30 million. {Ed025's Note - well, for a start, baines is the best in his position in the league, agger is good, but not in the top 5 centre backs in the prem, he is also injury prone, so to think he would be valued at more than baines...is in fact ludicrous..

Agree1 Disagree0

Baines is the best left back in the league, haha. Ashley Cole is by a mile. You won't be saying that Ed when Baines goes to Man Utd for about £8 million. {Ed051's Note -

Agree1 Disagree0

Apologies for not posting back sooner but let me explain what this has to do with Everton FC.
The reason why this g/s in work thinks Agger is worth over 22m because this is what city paid for Lescott and therefore in his eyes an injury prone center back who happens to wear red has of course got to be worth a whole Andy johnson more than Lescott was. Deluded, yes I know!
Let us remember the Lescott saga however. Lescott was not for sale at any price until he threw his dummy out the pram. Newly'owned Man City also had Mark Hughes as manager then who loves nothing more than throwing wads of someone elses money at a team to try to land the reputation of a good manager (look at him now). He was therefore willing to pay whatever it took to land Lescott because he could. I dont think that Mancini is that Naive and realises that by offering stupid money to a competitior for an overpriced player will benefit them massively and increase competition. Just look how Newcastle reaped the benefits after Liverpool gave them 35m for Mandy Carrol. Yes, they finished 3 places above them!
And to conclude, Brendan Rodgers has publically stated that 'every player has his price'. It is this 'price' that the deluded ones think Agger is worth that I found so laughable!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you wanna know what's going on at Anfield, ask an Evertonian.

Hilarious gang of penniless tramps.

Forever in our shadow!

Swizzmeister-funk! {Ed051's Note -what part of Norway you from

Agree1 Disagree0

Since when has 7th been in the shadow of 8th?
The delusions are getting worse, You guys need some medical help!

Agree0 Disagree1

With the exception of Vidic & Kompany...name a better cb? And please don't say Jagelka or Distan...ha!

Agree1 Disagree0

SkySportsNews Transfer Clockwatch:

Lyon full-back Aly Cissokho's agent claims his client is open to a summer switch and that England and Italy would be his destinations of choice. The France international has been linked with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, Sunderland, Inter Milan, Juventus and Napoli.

What do you think our chances are Ed?

MikeyEFC {Ed025's Note - not great mikey..i think a forward, or winger is the priority..

Believable1 Unbelievable11

Cissokho is an Inter Milan Target, Lyon plan to sel him not loan him and we don't have the funds to buy this kind of player. Think about it !! - Cosmin -

Just giving info from the SSN Website

Ed you are forgetting who our manager is. We'll probably bring in a goalkeeper and a defender. {Ed025's Note - have faith mate..
