Drenthe will not be at goodison next season, he has flashes of brilliance but his overall contribution isnt that great and he just doesnt fit the everton mould. Possible ins are:
Rodellega - Free
Hoilett - Free
Pranjic - Free
Jarvis - £4 mill
Pienaar - £3 mill
Distin to stay for 1 more season

I am hoping for a big shock signing, but cant see us having the money.
New Nike kits, possibly europa league football

Exciting to be an evertonian again.

Jelavic to score 20+ next season!

Believable21 Unbelievable10

Don't think we could get Hoilett, as wage demands would put us out of the equation.

And I do agree that Drenthe will not be back next season because he does have a fractured relationship with Moyes

And I also wouldn't mind that summer if it happened. Pienaar and Jarvis would be solid additions to the wings and would give us legitimate threats from both wings, something we have lacked for a considerable amount of time now and I personally think Jarvis would absolutely thrive under Moyes.

Rodallega would bring depth to the striking department as a more than capable back up for Jelavic.

And Pranjic would be another solid addition to the squad, gives us a back up LB and a back up LM, something we also lack in the squad.

Would be a decent summer if that were to happen I think. {Ed025's Note - personally i cant see us being very active in the transfer market in the summer, i just hope we secure peanuts, and maybe a free, pranjic would be nice, or rodallega..

Agree1 Disagree1

Why do we need all the players mentioned?
we need just 1 player in the summer, our squad is decent enough now. Stef Old Swan. {Ed025's Note - i agree stef...wholesale changes are not called for, just a tweaking for me..

Agree0 Disagree1

Could not disagree more, we are fine right now because our injury list is non-existent at the moment, and she we get injuries we get them by the dozens it seems. We need squad depth.

Not to mention, we have 3 loanees including 2 who are essentially our only wingers in the squad, when we really need 3 or 4 wingers for us to have squad depth. And with Stracq gone, we need another replacement and Rodallega fits the bills. And Pranjic, Pienaar and Jarvis fills the winger needs.

We need to continue to add to the squad, and for me, barring probably Hoilett who is out of reach, those other 4 only improve the squad as a whole, and we all saw the effect of 2 or 3 new players to our squad, that is what I really think is the problem to our starts of the season, the players have no new competition, get complacent and we struggle.

As I said, adding to the squad is essential! {Ed025's Note - adding to the squad is very important...what i am not advocating is wholesale changes, we have a very good squad, and i would rather see just 1 or 2 quality signings, than 4 or 5 mediocre players..

Agree0 Disagree1

I agree. We only need to tweak the squad. I would be more than happy to see us sign all lonee's on permenant contracts and getting Rodallega on a free would be nice aswell. I think there is no chance of us getting Hoilett.

Drenthe wil b here,we r in no position to turn down free transfers

Agree0 Disagree1

Signing Drenthe is a no brainer he would command a transfer fee whilst under contract. If Im not wrong he has more goals and more assists than any other player imagine what he could do without his personal problems injuries and just a slight change in his game play. Give him a full season and you will not believe how good Moyes will get him!

Agree0 Disagree1

Dont think we need a whole lot for next season. Pienaar is a must, Maybe Drenthe free, if his relationship with Moyes is not to strained, and if not Drenthe or, or and Pranjic and Rodellega free that would certainly do for me. Only releasing McFadden and Denis. Suad for next season

I am actually looking forward to next season, regardless of what ins or outs there will be in the summer. My main cause for optimism is that our new man up front has the sheer arrogance not to be bothered by our traditional sluggish starts. I think he will carry on scoring almost obliviouse to what the feeling is around him - the mark of a top striker

So for this reason I am predicting an improved start to next season and a consistent challenge for Europe. Not the last gasp run we are used to.

WOW AS IM WRITING THIS Z CARS JUST COME ON THE TELLY...... IT'S A SIGN

I expect a few changes for tomorrow definately. Would you rest jelavic? i probably would. havn't seen much of the straq recently we could play him instead.have to wait and see.
plus rumours around sayin arsenal linked with 10 mil move for clint dempsey damn. wish we had some cash to splash on him. he is quality

Believable1 Unbelievable6

Dont rest the jelly at all, he is on fireand we all know what happens to fires if you leave them alone, keep it burning jelly {Ed024's Note - Jelavic has been top notch for us, what a player!!!

Agree1 Disagree1

If Jelavic was to get injured playing on Monday it would be a massive blow leave him for Saturday

Agree1 Disagree1

If i was Moyes I would rest most of the squad that he is to play at Wembley. Fellani and some other players will definatley have to be rested because they will be suspended for the semi, we can't afford that at the moment. COYB

Agree0 Disagree1

Fellaini isn't going to get suspended if he picks up a yellow, after the Norwich game, there was an amnesty as is always after the 2nd Sunday in April.

AS much as I would love to see Jelavic play against Sunderland, there is no way in hell I would risk any injury or suspension on him, just way too much risk for the game on Saturday. Give Anichebe a run out, scoring goals coming off the bench, give him a run and see if he is indeed only a super sub.

I really don't want to see any of our influential players play against Sunderland, for me, although it would be nice to finish 7th and above the s**te, but, beating the s**te in the semi, would burn them for A LONG time, it would hurt them, as it would if they beat us, and the chance to play for a trophy is just too much risk for me to take on a game against Sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree1

Rangers fan here,,,glad to see the big man is doin the buisness for everton down there!,,he was a great player for us,and we were sad to see him go,,knew he would score goals down there,,and the best has yet to come from him as well!,,cant rest a man when hes on fire,,,and i think davy moyes knows this too
