No AB, mainly because it fits in to the Ogbonna and Shakira thing. fans want him just because another team wants him, like I said before, if Leicester were going to sign Heskey everyone would be fuming 'why are we being outbid (even though we never bid, like Shakira) by LEICESTER'.

i would like mertens to be honest but can't see us getting him and its 50 50 for ogbonga and darmian from torino going utd so coleman looks like he is going to stay

Swan, actually Wijnaldum is a player I've seen a lot of and is a very good player. We unfortunately don't have the cash to go chasing after everyone so we have to look at leagues like Holland or players who aren't getting much game time elsewhere in order to find bargains. The fact that other teams are bidding for them highlights the fact that they are available and for the sort of money we could pay.
Shaqiri is a top player for Switzerland and was fantastic at Basel. 17 goals in 46 caps at just 23. That's why he would be a good addition, nothing to do with Stoke. I can't speak for ogbonna as I have never seen him play, only heard good things though.
Another club's bid highlights the fact he is available. I would also love to sign Robben, Muller, Mertens, Vidal, Kagawa, Modric, Pedro. The list is endless but the fact is that there is no indication that they're available at our price range so there's no point chatting about them possibly joining now is there?
Realistically who would you like to see join?

As a Goalkeeper? Was Marshall but the more I watch the less I like him, Keylor Navas isn't up to much at Real Madrid.
CB-Van Dijk, Alderwerield (gone to Spuds :() or Nkoulou. I find Ogbonna to be really slow, bit better than Distin on the ball and like Distin he likes to head a ball 6 inches off the ground than use his right foot.
CM-do not need one, that is the position we need to cut down on, not increase numbers. Although I have always wanted Jordie Clasie.
CAM-Jese at Real is a great talent. I like Insigne and Banega.
ST-Austin, Alcacer, Bacca (now gone) and a young lad at Atletico Madrid I believe called Leo Baptistao (spelling) is a good player.
No idea who is realistic there.

I've never been a fan of Wijnaldum, always thought of him as a bit of a Drenthe in attitude and unfulfilled potential. I also believe that he is one of those players who has several positions but we aren't sure what his best is. If there's any doubt you should never pay a fee.
