He’s actually a very good manager GB. Solid at the back as I remember from his season in charge at Swansea.

Yep he does have a Good CV mate, really good to see us linked with some Class Managers.

Seems to have had a few sackings and never stayed anywhere too long.

I would prefer to see someone with more PL experience, however the ones we are linked with I think Sousa could be ok. I was hoping for a more established manager, don't think we are able to attract the kind of person we need, which is a shame, its a case of hopefully we can strike it lucky with the next appointment. Really poor planning from the club, I can understand why no top or even half decent manager would want to join, we are in such a bad negotiating position.

Ed 002 are these links to Vitor Pereira true and if so is this Moshiri's advisors choice. What do you think of him as a manager.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - (a) I don't know. (b) It would be the second advisor. (c) Journeyman good for a year or two as the first choice is not keen.}

With you totally on this 002,also I feel that you need somwone who know the prem when fighting relegation and we are.

Moyes!

Are you able to say who the first choice is? I know you say they aren’t keen but it would be interesting to see who the club are aiming for. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Marcelino.}

and this is the problem the first choice not keen and plumping for second choice which will just put us back into the same situation we have had over the last 4 years. I would be happy if Brands had the control of our new manager choice and not FM or any of his advisors. What is the point of getting Brands if he can't make the decisions he has been employed to do?

sa90, if your first choice doesn't want to come then what do you do? wait forever and beg him until he does? you move down your list.

I have to be honest and feel that nobody stands out but Moyes for 18 months to steady the ship would be good. We know what he does so give 18 months to organise the club then maybe a smothing more adventurous. The important thing is to stay in this league and not gamble.

Id let Brands make the decision which currently may not be the case. If he decided to go for his second choice then so be it. The earlier post intimated the FMs advisors were putting managers forward not Brands.

{Ed025's Note - to be honest sa it was brands who endorsed silva, he has also signed some pretty average players for us and to be frank has overall been very underwhelming mate, i dont know whether his hands have been tied or not but his reputation has far outweighed his actual effect on us..

Couldn't agree more👍.

Eds25 in fairness marcel brands has had a lot of deadwood to clear and we have been unfortunate with injuries with new signings. It will take time to get the squad sorted.

{Ed025's Note - i get that STB but as a renowned director of football you would have thought that he would have brought in a top class striker, a bloody millwall fan could have told him that, and what about our centre backs?...surely he knows they are the pitts so why are they stilll here and why have we not invested in better?, on his report card i would be saying "could do a hell of a lot better 4/10"..

05 Dec 2019 22:18:01
Can any off the edds tell us a bit about this vitor pereira and is it a good choice never heard much about him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - Vitor Pereira would be the choice of the second and most recent advisor - he is a journeyman coach who might be interested in taking thge job for a year or two - given the first choice isn't. He is coaching a club in China right now - I don't recall which.}

Who’s the first choice that you mention Ed?
