Qatari consortium been in touch with blues advisors. arsenal not looking to sell. Selling fee not the problem. Sticking point is Goodson park. Investors believe that money on players to hit champions league is the key. Liverpool city council involved trying to raise money for stadium to be leased to the consortium to avert building costs. Avia stadium in Ireland being looked at as type of build. Kirkby is back on the agenda as build could start immediately contract is signed. Goodison not to be redeveloped.

How reliable is this? sounds good and has legs as some info in post is very accurate, let's hope so blues

Agree0 Disagree0

I love rumours like this, I don't think it'll materialise but it still makes me feel good.

Don't start getting your hopes up. It will only disappoint you when this doesn't happen. And it won't. Just more made up rumours crap.

Mike

Agree0 Disagree0

Really, hope this is true we deserve some good fortune.

Plop! Splash! Flush!

Season ticket prices are coming out soon. Why do u fall for it every season

Agree0 Disagree0

Whether you believe or not, sooner or later we will be sold. Its just a matter of making sure we get the right people owning the club

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would Liverpool City Council be backing a project that's outside the Liverpool City boundary?

Agree0 Disagree0

I work at at links course in liverpool was told last week kirby golf course is up 4 sale not 2 convinced about the investment but a new ground in kirby may have legs

Agree0 Disagree0

Is this the one?
Old Bill

Agree0 Disagree0

As per previous texts, season ticket time again. Also why Kirkby, wasn't there a problem with planning, i. e. residents etc. Would not believe it even if Kenwright came out and said so, do not trust this board.

Liverpool city council has had the most cuts of any local authority. wouldn't look good would it if they then used that inward investment outside the city's boundary as one the people above posted.

Maybe we should apply to the fa. re develop the pitts kirkdale they've got a fund open at the minute. maybe more grass root though lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Where did you hear this mate? Do you think this is true ed? {Ed025's Note - i will believe it when it happens mike...until then mate, treat it with a pinch of salt..

nothing to do with st coming out soon its a rs reading a post the other day about everton officials at the aviva stadium checking it out. and a mix of the bid for arsenal. just some joker taking the you know what

Agree0 Disagree0

Why do people write negative things regarding season ticket sales?

Do people really believe that someone would go out and buy a season ticket because they heard a rumour, surely you're the ones who need to get real.

Liverpool city council along with Knowsley council see investment, major investment coming into the city. that's why they are involved. Imagine the crowds every other Saturday and the tourists coming in to Liverpool city to see blues if this took off aka man city. Theyd go to kirkby for the game but spend cash in liverpool city centre. Cuts, job losses etc councils see this as regeneration, The feel good factor. Everton would cost a third of what arsenal are asking with a new stadium. The qataris are not stupid, kenright can stay as chairman, moyes is more popular the wenger, the squad is more stronger than arsenal, the youth set up is flourishing under sheeds and stubbsy, The fan base is there. You wait and see.

It's not a fair comparison you are talking about an out of town build the result would be another Bolton. Ask any blue who went recently in the Cup what a tremendous experience that was!
There are only 3 workable options the docks, speke or rebuild Goodison.

Agree0 Disagree0

Qatari blue, I like what your saying mate a lot of it is good reading but all were asking is how do you know all this information on this. You can not blame the posters for being negative as we have been let down so many times before I searched all over the net and can't find anything about any of this can you give us something to go on or is it just a dream you want to happen what do you think Ed. {Ed025's Note - i think people are putting 2 and 2 together, and coming up with 385 stef..just speculation at this point mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh, dare we dream

gazman

Expat bluenose working at a school out here. qataris are seriously
looking at investing in global game. Barcelona shirt deal is the first. They want a foothold in EPL.

gazman

Agree0 Disagree0

And then tell them to buy Rooney.

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry to say, but I have said this so many times before, Kenwright is not selling anytime soon, he has no desire or need to sell, he is very content. We may not be but he is. I have said this many times my Dad lives next door to his daughter and son in law. Not this christmas but the one before my dad was over (he is also a blue) for a drinks party and the son in law made it very clear that Bill has no desire to sell. End of.

Svenny

ps my Dad lives in a little village on the outskirts of Milton Keynes if you wanted to check that up, its called Whaddon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone is looking but they're Russian {Ed025's Note - well i wish they would rush a bit quicker!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Het Svenny what's the address? I will pop round next crimbo as I live only 2 miles away from Whaddon

I am hearing from sources close to the club that Marouane Fellaini will be sold to Chelsea at the end of the season for £27.5million, because Bill Kenwright will want most of the money to go towards the clubs debts then Darren Fletcher will be seriously considered as Fellaini's replacement.

AbduhlaEFC

Believable8 Unbelievable24

If Andy Carroll cost 35 mil. ( hee hee hee ok they saw the RS coming )

Then Mr Fellaini must be worth that and more to CFC!

Blue247

Agree0 Disagree0

Not saying he will not be sold, but, unt; city; chelsea; arsanal; PSG, and real madrid all want him, so (a) we will get a lot more than his minimum buy out, and (b) all bar the 5mill to service the debt will go to team building.

Agree0 Disagree0

Andry Carroll 35m
Fernando Torres 50m

i may as well hit the number pad on my keyboard followed by a "m" for Fellani's value

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Mar 2013 14:37:08
sicknote as a replacement? I don't think so.

Ray

Agree0 Disagree0

I think fellaini wil defo go in summer but we should be looking to get in at £35m for him with the clubs that are interested. Hopefully as has been said the majority will go towards signing players. a copule of centre mids, centre back, winger and forward would be nice

Cheeks

Agree0 Disagree0

If he go's it got 35m and up

Rumours are that everton are looking at three potential managers if david moyes leaves this summer. Roberto Martinez, Slaven Bilic and Harry Redknapp (if QPR go down)

Believable9 Unbelievable17

Dont want redknapp if he hadnt poached all of moyses targets we would have been in the champions league already plus the man has no loyalty at all how many clubs has he walked out on

Agree0 Disagree0

Im hearing that celtic manager neil lennon will be a contender fot the job if moyes steps down has did a fantastic job at celtic with no money

Agree0 Disagree0

YE I would go for Neil Lennon

I don't know why such negativity, he is far better and experienced than Martinez, Reknap etc, has managed England ( how many managers make it a success, so let's not take too much notice of that) also he has continental experience knows the foreign market first hand and spent time under Sir Alex.
Not a bad CV I would say, maybe he wil bring Fer with him!

Agree0 Disagree0

This has to be a red rubbish hawk post lol

Cheeks

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope not! Would rather give it to a promising manager like rosler

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't be surprised either mclaren or allardyce they'd both be cheap

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he was seen modelling the new range of "Chang" umbrella, s.
