Baines says there no sense of togetherness in the dressing room for 2 years. Watch out for an announcement he is injured for the weekend. He will get exiled like Eto and Distin for speaking out against RM.

Difference is he made it public. Bit obvious for Martinez to make him 'injured' after him going so public with it.

Plus Baines has been at the club a long time and dare I say a more senior figure than they other two players you mention. Maybe more players will back Baines and it may or hopefully will be the beginning of the end for Martinez.

Yes I believe you as I believe that Martinez is a vindictive arrogant dictator and not the nice guy most think he is.
What has happened to Osman, Piennar, what happened to Distan.
He will come on the radio and tell you a player is one of the best then drop him, it has happened with all these players including Baines, oh yes Eto as well.
Baines is a true blue that is for certain.

Baines said there's no chemistry. There's a bit difference between chemistry and togetherness.

It would be fitting if at the next home game the fans give Baines an extra big cheer for coming out and saying what he did. The board must take notice. That is if he is selected or "injured".

I hate to say it but Leighton has some guts and has put himself on the line.
i have been saying for months on here we MUST take pro active action like me not renewing my season ticket if evryone did it board would have to have acted.
I have been criticised being told I not true fan having supported them since in short trousersin 59! .
Even true fans and loyal can only stand so much.
A dog may be loyal but if you kick it enough it will bite back.

This isn't meant as a doom and gloom post more just for interest sake but these are the players I can see going in the summer (excluding those who will be out of contract) .

Interested who you blues would realistically have replace them:

Howard (definitely going)
Lukaku (pretty sure he is leaving)
Mirallas (gets minimal game time so must be going)
Stones (likely to leave)

i agree with top three mate but just have a feeling Stones will be staying, can't see Mr Moshirir getting rid of two gems at once mate, he will need to make a statement, would like him to stop lukaku too as he has 3 years left, that would be a bold move.

Hope you're right Murf. Think Stones is more likely to stay than Lukaku.

Who would you want to see replace any/ all of those?

Lads I think Rom gone and we will replace him with either one of these strikers embolo, silimani, lacazette, bony or keita balde diao would like yarmelenko but think he will go to arsenal so I would go for dennis Praet, rafa silva or nadir fekir keppers would be begovic or Heaton premier league experience essential and Fabian schar as defender lads what u think about playing one of r under 21 players for r next match against WWatford I was thinking of Kieran Dowell the lad is class with a great left foot.

I reckon bony would be a good punt dentielad similar type of player to ROM and scored goals for fun at Swansea sonhas proven record in the prem. Yarmalenko would be a perfect fit but if the rumours are to be believed the red shite fancy him as well.

well I think Leighton Baines has well and truly thrown a grenade on the offic floor of the efc shareholders with his comments yesterday. it's quite clear he's lost faith in the manager as have most of the team and all us fans. I just hope that appropriate action will now be taken. Ed, on a scale of 1-10 what is the likelihood of the clueless 1 being dismissed now or at the end of the season?

{Ed025's Note - that is a bone of contention that is difficult to forecast soli, im told that the board is split on his future and that some believe he is doing ok (how the hell they think that is beyond me), so i cant really see his future being in doubt until the cup run is over at the earliest mate..

05 Apr 2016 16:02:43
Two semi-finals and mid-table finish, may well be acceptable to some members of the Board but more relevant, Mr Kenwright still remains Chairman and we all heard his comments on the Manager. Perhaps as well our new majority shareholder may have been hoodwinked by waffle, after all he has appointed Ecclestone to the Board - a quite baffling decision in my view. I am just playing Devils advocate here.

Since Moshiri is not on the board and if the board is split as Ed stated then I can only imagine that the dissatisfied member is Ryazantsev since I can't see Kenwright, Woods or Elstone wanting Martinez replaced yet. I think we have to get Kenwright and Woods off the board before we see big changes in the board strategy. It will be interesting to see how far Moshiri is willing to allow the board to dictate how the club is run.

This decision may cause a split between Moshiri and Kenwright, let's hope Moshiri wins.

I'm fairly sure, that should our new owner needs to over rule Kenwright, Lord Granchester, would be only to glad to lend his assistance!

Can someone explain to me how saying "There is no chemistry" means Martinez has lost the dressing room.
Surely chemistry is the interaction between the players not the relationship between the players and Martinez.
The way I read it he's having a go at the players saying they are playing for themselves, to get a move away from the club, ie Lukaku, Stones, Miralles.
That the players don't want to take any responsibility, there is no "banter" between the players, no one gets a bollocking from the captain for screwing up.
That's what I understand as chemistry not that Martinez has lost the dressing room.
