If it gets to late I'd rather Cahill than what we have, good defender and maybe just what we need at this time, as a last resort. plus remember how well distain did for us, I'm sure he was around the Same age .

Not my first choice, but Cahill is definitely better than what we have. I think Holgate will be first choice when fit and so Cahill could Shepard him.

It'd be a relief to get Cahill in and then look for another CB.
As Blue says him and Holgate could be a good pairing.
Go and offer Newcastle Keane + 20-25m for Lascelles and defence is sorted.

Just been trawling the internet and there is an article on Chelsea's Kurt Zouma. It says he has been stripped of his squad number and suggests he might be available for a transfer. The article links him to EFC, probably more because we are in the market for one or two cb's.
Eds, do you know of him being made available by Chelsea or is it just a baseless rumour?
