I was hoping for some sort of season ticket exodus, as it'd be the only was that the board would finally listen to us, but that number is absurd. We only have around 27,000 season ticket holders, there no way over a 3rd are cancelling.

I've not renewed mine. My own personal protest. I don't want to watch Martinez and his stubborn smug face again next season. If/ when the manager position is clarified by the club I will look for a new season ticket.

If that report is true, and an average season ticket costs let's say £500, that makes it £5 million lost.
Correct me if my maths is wrong.
Something the club cannot ignore, surely.
I've already renewed mine, maybe I should have waited and used it as a protest too.

I mentioned a while ago i was not renewing my season ticket.
i have been pestered by Everton to renew but i am refusing .
i Have lost my seat now but will renew if he goes unfortunately it may be 2 anotber part of the ground.
i cannot understand why more did not refuse to renew.

Because they support Everton football club and are prepared to put up with mid table mediocrity, prepared to moan, but not prepared to do anything in an attempt to change things. Those who've not renewed have my admiration.

according to the everton app, sales are up on this time last year. can't see them printing lies to create a smokescreen.

I was watching a rb Leipzig game on by sport about a week ago and the commentator said that we had had scouts there to watch there winger Emil Forsberg. He went on to say that there was serious interest and that we had made an exploratory offer of around €18 million.

Have you heard anything about this eds? Is it just rumour?

Also if it is true then what does it say for Bobby if the club is sanctioning bids for his targets.

{Ed001's Note - you do regularly have scouts at their game but no offer has been made, just an enquiry. I would assume that was the price quoted, though I don't know the details on that.

All it means is that the scouting and acquisitions department are continuing their work until told otherwise. Decisions are very rarely made at this point in the season with little to play for while the new regime are trying to get themselves settled in.}

Looking at other Blues sites and there is some speculation ''sources'' saying RM leaves the club on Sun. 15th / Mon. 16th May.

{Ed001's Note - you are welcome mate. I think everyone is 99% certain Martinez will be leaving, the fans want him out and the players are not fully behind him. It would be a major shock if you went into next season with him in charge, but these things have happened. I can remember talking to the owner of a then Premier League club, he told me he had decided to sack the manager in the morning after a bad result. I posted it up on the site related to it, in the morning he had calmed down and the CEO convinced him not to do it, so I ended up looking a tit. So it is never 100%, though he did eventually end up giving him the bullet, all it did was lengthen the time it took. It will be the same with Martinez, all that is happening is a delay of the inevitable.}
