"David Moyes is considering a move for out-of-contract Hugo Rodallega. The Everton boss wrapped up a deal for ex-Rangers midfielder Steven Naismith on Tuesday."
What? Rodallega would be decent signing but according to the Mail we've signed Naismith! Then again it is the Daily Mail...

Everton to make bid for out of contract Rodellaga. The Wigan striker is a target for David Moyes.

Source Daily Mail 03/07/12

Believable24 Unbelievable4

Hey Ed if this comes off it will be two out of two form me and you, both said Jelavic way before there were any rumours and bot have been advocating Rodallega too.

Degsybluenose {Ed025's Note - rodallega is a proven prem player, and on a free, its surely a no brainer..

Moyes wants rodellga, personally don't rate him, he's lazy and doesn't many shots on target. Some a my friends are Wigan fans and they have never liked him, always said he is very very lazy...............

TC

Believable22 Unbelievable1

Sorry TC, he is verl lazy in a Wigan side that played crap for 90 percent of the season, Moyes would kick that out of him easily as he is not exactly a rebel like Drenthe, also he does have talent, and for free, great prospect mate

Degsybluenose

Agree1 Disagree0

He didn't kick it out of yakubu...........

TC

Agree1 Disagree0

I clicked disagree because i believe David Moyes has a better understanding of player attributes than you, also i disagree with your claim that you have friends...

Benfica have been linked with Joao Silva, Everton have been linked with Cardozo. Im sure Moyes can work out a deal. I think this would suit all partys
Cardozo for £5mil, Silva and Anichebe/Gueye(Possibly loan)

Believable20 Unbelievable19

Why on earth would Benfica want Silva or Anichebe or Gueye ?

Agree0 Disagree0

They wanted Silva but I doubt anyone would want Anichebe except Wigan. Gueye's one for the future so i'd like to see him kept. The whole Cardozo thing has been taken out of context. The sum given was £16m however he won't cost that much. £16m was just a benchmark sum, I expect him to go for between 10-12? 13 at a push.

MikeyBlueNose.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think you need to lie down. Cardozo is being touted around most of Europe for £16M!

Agree1 Disagree0

Cardoza wouldnt join they will want atleast 7-8mil for him

We will not be buying Cardozo for £16m. We probably won't get him at all. The only reason we got Felli for that much was because we sold someone and had the money.

Serious rumours going around that we are to get Sebastian Boenisch on a free as he is out of contract. He's 29 and played RB in Germany for a few clubs. As much as I hate to say it, would be an improvement on Hibbo. -BlueJay

Believable25 Unbelievable10

What team do he play for {Ed025's Note - benfica..

Agree1 Disagree0

When we bought Fellaini we didn't sell anyone? The money was just there? £16m is just the starting price don't forget. We can haggle a few mill off that price.

MikeyBlueNose.

Agree1 Disagree0

He is 25 {Ed025'e is 29 actually..

Agree1 Disagree0

I watched Boenisch play for Poland in the Euros, I thought he played quite well.

Pecko

Agree1 Disagree0

Think the guy who said he's 25 is talking bout boenisch not Cardozo {Ed025's Note - oh sorry...my bad..

Agree1 Disagree0

Boenisch is 25, Cardozo is 29

Agree1 Disagree1

16mill for a 29 year old? No ta

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry Ed but Boenisch was born in 1987 which makes him 25 {Ed025's Note - i realise that now..i was talking about cardozo..

Agree0 Disagree0

Hoffenhiem i think ( some german club ) agreed a deal with him before the euros, but stopped it after his performances while there

Agree1 Disagree0

Bill does have the money for him he's a multi millionaire just a stinge. Bag that's all an why would we spend 16m on a player like him I wouldn't say he's proved himself yet the likes of Danny sturridge could be bought for that money!

Agree1 Disagree0

BK does not have the money to pump in £16 m, he is not a multi millionaire in the football club chairman sense, thats why he has been 'trying' to sell the club. I like most Evertonians wish he could find a buyer, but in the mean time we have to be realistic... BK does not have the money to pump even a few million in, it has to come from savvy financial management/planning, loans on future income, and sponsorship.

Agree1 Disagree0

Wasnt aj sold when we signed felliani

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah your right, we did sign Fellaini after moving along AJ. That's where we got the cash from.

Okay so I have friends in LA and they said They have 3 designated player Donovan, Beckham and Keane. And your only allowed 3. They also said that he has only been divorced recently and putting his house up for sale could be for that, but they don't know. Back to having three designated players strong rumours in LA that lampard is on his way, paving the way for Donovan to leave...............

Everton have already beaten last seasons , season ticket sales a few signings could really boost them

Believable24 Unbelievable7

I know I've got mine

Pecko

Agree1 Disagree0

Let's not forget that the kids prices are only £95 for the season, that's the main reason we have beaten last years total.
I think we are papering over the cracks.
Big Tommy, Litherland. {Ed025's Note - i think the low price for kids is great tommy, it offers affordability to young blues, who are our future, so rather than papering over cracks, i think its showing foresight..

Agree1 Disagree0

If you look at the statistics on season ticket sales that are on the website only 500 more are under 11 tickets!

Agree1 Disagree0

£95 for kids tickets is a brilliant innovative idea, i give Everton Football Club 10 out of 10 for doing it.
I have taken advantage of this and bought my 5 year old grandson a ticket next to me in the Park End.
Some people are really so hard to please, especially big Tommy from litherland. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate...its a great incentive, that will bring us the next generation of blues fans..

Agree1 Disagree1

A few of my mates have come back

Agree1 Disagree0

Most clubs in a similar financial position to ourselves would take the opposite approach and make the supporters pay increased ticket prices to boost their revenue stream.
Bill often receives unjustified criticism and I feel that he should be applauded for having the foresight to implement such a groundbreaking initiative. Well done EFC.

I swear i've just seen Naismith on the 78 to halewood, he's on route to Finch Farm !!

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Yeah I'm sure a millionaire footballer will get the bus! Maybe it's everton's way of saving money!

Agree0 Disagree0

You've got a good'n with Naismith, he's better than The Jellyman, just a pity for my team that he had to leave, a great wee player, just give him time as he was out injured, a great wee thinker on the ball and can score a good goal as well.
Franco RFC {Ed025's Note - cheers franco...and good luck on your way back to the big time mate..

AVB will most likely allow pienaar to leave! At Chelsea he was attempting to fade out the older players and was looking for youth! Pienaars age might see AVB let him go. Hopefully for a fair price!

Maybe their could be some truth in the cordosa rumour it wouldnt be the first time Moyes spent big on a player look at Fellaini a few years back it could have legs lads no one really seen that coming but we will wait and see .Stef the blue.

Believable14 Unbelievable10

Felly was 19,cardoza is 29 even if we had the cash it would be silly,Luke de Jong younger and better value........tristen

Agree0 Disagree0

As well as wondering where all the money has been going for the past few years.
I would love this to be true but the very fact it was on talk sh!te makes it almost certainly bo!cks

Blue Bones

Agree0 Disagree0

Please stop it! We will never pay 16m for a 29 years old as mentioned in the media today. Other clubs are highly interested so we could not afford his wages aither!

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes but im not on about what age Fellaini was im talking about the money we spent on his transfer nobody really seen it coming so all im saying is maybe it has legs age means nothing these days look at Pirlo of itay .Stef the blue

Agree0 Disagree1

I think they're might be truth in the Cardozo rumour, but that's the first I've heard of a Cordosa rumour

Agree0 Disagree0

You're right about Fellaini being very young and that's why we paid so much for him, Cardozo is not worth £16m at his age. Podolski and Giroud who are both better overall players cost Arsenal less. Much cheaper and younger options around.

Also can people stop calling him Cardosa and Carduzo, it's Oscar Cardozo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why would modes spend 15+ million on a 29 yr old?
JAG

Agree0 Disagree0

No way do you break your transfer record on a player that's nearly 30'....unless it's maradona

Agree0 Disagree1

Felli could be sold on cardoza is too old for us to pay that much

Agree1 Disagree1

Do these people think we are daft, the club
is skint every one knows it so why do they
keep coming up with this crap...

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are you raging about spelling? We've had this discussion before. As long as people get the hint of what you're talking about, it's ok to let a few letters slip? Jesus man.

MikeyBlueNose {Ed025's Note - thats right mikey...its not a bloody english lesson!..

Agree0 Disagree0

Damn straight it ain't Ed! As for the whole Cardozo fiasco, i'd like to think the story has legs. Benfica have stated a £16m pricetag but that fee is obviously going to be negotiable. £16m is an awful lot for a 29 year old. Doubt PSG are gonna pay that sorta cash too especially when they're after Moutinho and Dani Alves. Who would want to play in Turkey and an "un-named" premier league side will probably be West Ham once again going for a player way out of their reach. Swings and roundabouts!

Super dodgy rumour this time on the talksport website we are apparently preparing a £16m bid for Oscar Cardozo. Unless Bill has won the Euro Lottery the only way that would happen is if we were to sell Fellaini or Baines and (it's an unlikely) if he did sign surely we would have to play 4-4-2 as both him and Jelly would have to start. I know it is very likely BS but thought I would have to post it after seeing it.

BlueNosePaul

Believable9 Unbelievable18

I've heard quite a lot that he can go a lot cheaper than that

Agree0 Disagree0

Hed have to sell one of them just for the 2 quid for a euromillions ticket!

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed it is highly unlikely, but why does it have to be 4-4-2? Why not 3-5-2? Pranjic is a wing-back both Baines and Coleman would be comfortable in the roll and we do have 3 quality centre backs, it would let DM pack the midfield as he likes to do and give us a cutting edge going forward.

WtG

Agree0 Disagree0

I wish moyes had the balls to play 3-5-2. I think id like that.
seewherl coyb

Agree1 Disagree0

We are actually playing 3-5-2 when attacking. Baines moves forward and Cahill too changing from 4-5-1 to 3-5-2. When we defend, it is a 4-5-1. I think its a great idea, however would like Moyes to attack more. Too many times it gets too defensive and boring apart from 2012.

Everton to make a £1.5m bid for Michael Krohn-Dehli of Bronby, but face competition from Swansea.

Agree0 Disagree0

Forward

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be great but prefer Pienaar as they are same type. [AO]

Agree1 Disagree0

Would not be a quality signing-he's an average journey man who had a decent tournament. At 29 moyes won't go near him

Agree0 Disagree0

We wont be getting Pienaar then either, as he is 30.

Agree1 Disagree0

Difference is pienaar is a proven premiership player who transformed our season when he came back and will give us that much needed creativity. The Dane is an average player who couldnt cut the grade at Ajax and has spent the rest of his career at average dutch and Danish clubs. He had 2 decent games in tournament then people start jumping on bandwagon saying sign him. Only have to mention phill babb or Gary Breen to look at 2 players who were useless but got signed after a half decent tournament-went to there new clubs and were useless again. I'd sooner have McFadden

Looks like Pienaar is staying at white hart lane source -the Blues Independent Everton Mad, if this happens I hope he never comes back (traitor)

Believable10 Unbelievable26

Well you're nice aren't you? Pienaar came back last season because our fans loved him.

Agree1 Disagree0

Such an overreaction - he is not a traitor. The club should have offered him wage parity with Arteta to keep him here in the first place. He was just as important to the team: in fact, more important in my opinion.

Bluewal.

Agree1 Disagree0

Some people need calm down one bit in paper that's it then ed ste45

Agree0 Disagree0

Charming! Pieaar's future depends on Spurs letting him go and our ability to find the fee needed to buy him.

WtG

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with him.. Everton have done alot for pienaars career.. He should be doing all he can to get back to everton, if it is true an he wants to stay at spurs to see if he MIGHT get a game here an there coz hes on more money then he can do one! Were not here to revive ppls careers!

Agree0 Disagree0

Pienaar isn't staying at WHL, he is desperate for a move to Everton, he has made it very clear, and irregardless of who is Spurs manager (except for Moyes) he is going to leave, he isn't going to get a look in, especially since Bale signed a new contract.

Agree1 Disagree0

He has made it very clear he wants to move back to us permanently. Even Harry said he wants to move back to us in an interview after the end of the season. The stumbling block, as usual, will be our lack of funds! The fact Everton can't afford him doesn't make him a traitor!

Agree1 Disagree0

Pienaar is not desperate to come back to us, the other week he said he was going to wait and see if Moyes came to Spurs, im not keen on this tbh, he is effective, but after this, there is no financial incentive in a deal for us due to his age(its already been said this summer that the board would'nt sanction a move for Dempsey due to his age) hard as it may seem, this would be a luxury signing for us, and we can't afford them unless blue bill has suddenly conjured up a transfer budget from somewhere

Agree1 Disagree1

Pienaar came back to us on loan and helped turn are season around......

Agree0 Disagree0

Until they install a new manager, he won't be going anywhere. Reports at the weekend that Levy wants to lower the age profile of the squad so a 30yr old may well find his face don't fit.

Agree1 Disagree0

We should be signing players like hoilet and moses swap deal plus cash would get moses if baines is sold i mean we could get them both plus naysmith obviously

hoilet is still a free agent thought he moved to germany but it seems not

Agree1 Disagree0

Pienaar is a great player and tbh i wouldnt blame him, i'd love to see him back in a everton shirt but it's not our choice.

Agree1 Disagree0

Turning on players is kopite behaviour, we're above that.
